you wake up from someone knocking on your door. "come in" you say with a hoarse voice. "good morning" Bucky says as he walks in with 2 plates and 2 cups of coffee in his hands. "oh i'm sorry, did i wake you up?" he asked. "yes, but i don't mind" you say as he sits down next to you on your bed. "how are you, did you sleep well?" he asks. "I'm fine, i slept well actually" you say happy you didn't had a nightmare. "good" Bucky says as he handed you a plate. "for my princess" he says smiling at you. "don't call me princess" you say smiling softly to him. you ate the pancakes Bucky made for you and drank your coffee. "they give Steve one last check this morning, if everything is fine he probably can come home in the early afternoon." Bucky says "you can come with me to pick him up if you want". "I can't i have school today" you say looking down. "don't worry, Tony called you in sick" Bucky says. you were relieved, you really didn't feel like going to school today. "okay, then i'll go with you, if we can pick Steve up" you say softly. you both finished your food and you got up out of bed. "I'm gonna take a shower" you say as you walk towards the bathroom. "can i join you?" Bucky asked. "yes you can" you said walking into the bathroom.
you turned on the shower and stepped in, a minute later Bucky joined you and began to shampoo your hair, massaging your head a bit while he did it. he then grabbed a block of soap and started washing the rest of your body. there was nothing sexual about this, which was nice. it had nothing to do with lust and everything with love. "this reminds me of our first time" he says as he washed your back. "oh yeah, going to run off after" you say jokingly. "no" he said laughing "sorry about that". he continued washing your body standing closer to you now. "is it selfish if i say i was glad you were there with me" he says softly. "no it isn't, i understand" you say back. you really liked the time you spend with him at hydra, well the times he was himself and not the winter soldier. "it's just, i was alone there for so many years and then you came in. you were so beautiful and you were so sweet to me, even after they made me do horrible things to you" he says.
you turn around, looking up at him, placing your hands on his face.

"I was glad you were there with me too" you say. "can i ask you something?" you ask Bucky as you look deep into his eyes. "did you love me back then?" "yes, i did. i didn't realize it back then, but i definitely did" he says. you pull him in and kiss him deeply. "did you love me back then?" he also asked you, as you let go of him. "you were my first love, i never stopped loving you" you said before Bucky grabs your chin and pulls you in for another kiss. "what would i do without you" he says as he looks deep into your eyes.
after you got out of the shower you decided to chill out for a bit. you put on a movie when Bucky got called by the hospital. they said that the scan was okay and that Steve could come home. you sat in the car and drove to the hospital. Bucky held your hand the whole ride. he parked the car outside the hospital and got out of the car. you already saw Steve sitting on a bench outside. you and Bucky walked up to him, he already looked a lot better. "hi" Bucky said to Steve before he placed a quick kiss on his lips. "hey, how are you?" Steve ask walking up to you. "I'm feeling better, how are you" you asked him. "I'm good" he says smiling at you like nothing happened. "I'm glad i can come home with you again" he says before he pulls you in for a hug, placing a kiss on your forehead. "let's go home" you say before you let go of him.
