Izzie Stevens: Here to Stay

Golden Hour

While Meredith and Cristina were talking while working in the ER Izzie walked up to them needing advice.

'Callies asked me to be her baby's godmother' she told them.

'Okay, isn't that good?' Meredith asked

'Yeah it is but what does a Godmother even do? Am I supposed to read it the Bible or something?'

'No' Cristina interrupted 'didn't you have godparents growing up'

'I barely even had parents'

'Okay well basically just agree to raise the baby if they can't and they all die or something and maybe babysit from time to time'

'Oh' Izzie replies 'So I'll pretty much do nothing except babysit. That sounds fun'

While Izzie was at the ER nurses station Alex walked in.

'Alex what are you doing here?' Iz asked him 'You have the night off and I was about to go get dressed so we could head to the game'

'I have to sign all my charts or else they'll suspend my privileges.'

Alex started signing his charts but there were way too many for them to finish in time so Izzie decided to help him and just hope nobody found out.

After they were done signing charts they didn't end up going to the game. Alex and Izzie ended up staying to help the 4 year old with a broken femur. They ended up giving the tickets to Jackson instead.
