'Fuck, my head.'

Yuzu woke up with a massive hangover. She turned to her right slowly and she saw Saeki sleeping serenely.

'Where am I? Damn. My head's spinning!'

She tried to get up and noticed that she's wearing different clothes. The girl beside her stirred.

"You're awake." Saeki got up and yawned.

"Uhmm... What am I doing here?" asked a confused Yuzu.

"You were drunk and flirted with me last night so I took you home." said Saeki nonchalantly.

'Shit.' Thought Yuzu. "We didn't... did we?" Yuzu asked blushing nervously.

Saeki pinched the blonde's chin gently and stared at her lips.

"We did." and she smiled.

'Shit. Shit. Shit.' Yuzu was panicking. And then she heard the other girl laugh.

"You are so naïve, Okogi."

"What?" the blonde was so confused.

"I was just messing with you." Instant relief washed Yuzu. "You were so drunk and insisted driving your bike, that's when I saw you, I was about to drive you into your apartment but you dropped your key at the bar, I called them and asked, so I took you here at my place." Saeki got up and prepared breakfast.

"Your reaction was so funny."

"Shut up Saeki."

"Here, take this, it's for the hangover." Saeki gave Yuzu a pill and a glass of water.

"Thank you. I'm sorry I dragged you into this again." she took the pill and swallowed.

"Lucky for you it's the weekend."

Yuzu apologized and thanked her workmate. She went to the bar to fetch her keys and drove home. She spent the whole day napping and visited Harumi's grave in the afternoon.

"Hey. How are you?" She brought her flowers. "I didn't bring you a whiskey today because I didn't want to even see or smell it for a while." Yuzu sighed. "My life is a nightmare without you, Haru."

Yuzu was about to head home when a familiar car stopped.

"Yuzu."

"Hey." Yuzu smiled half-heartedly. This is the only place they meet unexpectedly, they may not always see each other as often but their friendship stayed the same. She was hesitating to ask the question she didn't know if she wanted to know the answer, but she asked anyway.

"How is she?" they had their backs on each other.

"She's doing good." That's all Gao said.

Yuzu felt a pang in her heart, she should be happy for Mei but she was still in love with her, so it's alright and it's valid to feel pain, because she knows deep inside she wanted to hear that she's not doing okay and she's hurting too. Yuzu suppressed a tear. Something snapped in her, she should be fine too, it's time to move on. It's almost a year now and she will start by returning her keycard. She went to the vampire's house early in the morning and she was determined, her self-pity will stop now.

'God give me courage.'

She rang her doorbell but no one answered, it's strange because her car was there. She decided to just go inside, leave the keycard on her table and go home, but once she reached the living room, she heard a familiar voice.

"Jaehee." 

Her heart pounded like it was about to explode of what she saw.
