The room was dark with only cracks in the battered, boarded window allowing a few rays of the moonlight dimly illuminating the dingy room. THUMP! The sound that had previously jogged me from my dreams resounded through the room once again making me alert. That's when I noticed I was crouched in a corner of the room and the light peeping through the space at the bottom of the door. I swallowed the tension building up in my throat and cowered further into the darkness. My whole body was shaking violently as sweat trickled down my face and my clothes stuck to my bothered body. Fear crept up my spine, as the hairs on my neck stood up, the door opened in a sudden movement as I clasped both hands over my mouth to surpress the gasp which was going to escape my lips. A dark figure stood in the door way holding a long weapon in his hand. From its shadow the man looked well built and strong, and I gulped at the awful realisation of why he was here. He was here for me.
I crossed me fingers and closed my eyes hoping he wouldn't notice me in the corner. The room was so eerily quiet now that all that could be heard was my own frantic heartbeats the his heavy footsteps coming towards me. I opened one of my eyes and they both widened in terror as I saw his face in the moonlight. My mouth opened in utter surprise as I recognised the same chizelled jaw and once shining blue eyes which were now dark and filled with lust. I gasped as his gaze fell on me and a grin formed on his face, and his grip tightened around the wooden weapon.
'Cha...Chace?' I whispered in astonishment, my voice croaky and cracking.
'Why yes Analise I'm glad you remember me darling,' he smirked holding the bat on his shoulder and crouching down right in front of me. His hand came out to touch my face but I flinched away in disgust pushing myself further into the wall to get away from him. This time he roughly grabbed hold of my chin and forced me to look towards him.
'Hurt but still got the attitude huh?' he commented distastefully letting go of me and looking me dead straight in the eyes.
'What have you done to him? Your his brother for godsakes! How could you and why?' I exclaimed my anger rising as I stood up after him rubbing the sides of my arms to keep myself warm.
'He. Is. Not. My Brother! So don't you dare call him that! And don't worry about him he's alive and that's all you need to know,' he spat through gritted teeth and turned away from me and further continued, 'I'm sure he's told you about our mum. She was a b*tch who left us for some other guy the ended up in the grave. Alex always supported her and hated our dad, who did so many things for us, I mean my dad loved me but there was always this missing piece in my dads heart for Alex even if he didn't show it!'
'So your doing all this just for revenge on your own brother! Have you even tried to listening to his side of the story?' I exasperated my face scarlet, and contorted with anger. This made him turn around and face me, a flash of regret passed through his face but it was gone as soon as it came. Within a second he had me pinned up against the wall his forearm digging into my neck as he choked me.
'Don't you dare question me, it's not 'just revenge' it's much more than that but you wouldn't understand, do you remember that day at the retaurant when I offered you a ride? Why did you go with him? Why not me? Even if your stupid friend wasn't there you would have still chosen him wouldn't you have?' he grimaced, smothering me even more as his questions grew while I desperatly struggled around for even a breath of fresh air. Finally realizing that if he didn't let go I would die he moved away pinching the bridge of his nose just like Alex. I rubbed my neck lightly at where he had strangled me and shivered at the thought of him even being a secong late in the release.
'It was because I love him Chace, it's because I love him...' I chanted tears pricking at my eyes, as my thoughts wandered back to him.
'No you can't love him, you can't be his...you're mine because once I want something have it! And what I want I YOU!' he shouted grabbing me by the shoulders and shoving me hard up against the wall.
'You can do whatever you want, but it won't change the fact that I love him and always will!' I said in a calm voice, trying to get him to reason.
'Fine if I can't have you then no one will!' he grinned maniacally, grappling a fist full of my hair and pulling me towards the door as I yelped in pain.
'Ow...Chace let me go! Please Chace don't do this please!' I begged trying to loosen his grip but failing miserably as he continued to drag me outside. Pushing me up the stairs he still had a hold on me as we hit the fresh hair outside. It was still dark out as the freezing air wrapped around my like a serpent on its victim. After getting pushed into a car I glared at Chace, trying to hide the fear in my eyes. Then before I had the time to react he pushed himself onto me and his lips were on top of mine as I stilled in surprise and terror. As soon I regained my consciousness I tryed to push him back but he was stronger than me. Tears flowed down my eyes as he shoved his tongue into my throat and I yet again did my best to push him away.
My next automatic reaction was to knee him in the ribs which worked as he was caught by surprise and I took the oppurtunity scramble back on the seat away from him. His eyes narrowed as he grasped my hair and whispered into me ear his words filled with venom, 'You just agreed to your death.'
'Please Chace don't do this! He's your brother!' I pleaded with him, holding back my sobs as he completely ignored me. The doors were locked and I knew it was no use trying to escape as he would catch me anyway and the windows were blacked out aswell. Doing the only thing I could do I sat rigid in my seat and waited for us to reach to the destination.
At last the car came to a halt and I was pushed out. We were at a warehouse in the middle of god knows where! It was a huge grey buliding which looked warn down and derilect. Nearly all the windows were either shattered or boarded up, and the only thing that was still properly intact was the big metal door. A crooked gate lay half broken on the floor its hinges falling of and a battered car stood in the yard, rusting slowly. I treaded along the gravel until we got to the door, as the bulky driver took out a bunch of keys flipping to the right one and slowly exerting the large door open, making a hude screeching noise from where the metal rubbed against the hard stone floor.
My breath hitched as I saw his unconsious figure tied up to loosely hanging metal, his head hung down and hair messy with sweat and dried blood. His nose was busted and blood dripped out slowly blending into the other stream trickling down from a deep gash embedded into his forhead. His shirt was ripped and lay tattered on the floor next to his feet allowing me to see the numerous cuts on his abdomen. He was hurt....badly.
'Alex!' I screamed sprinting towards him but was held back by two men with an evil look in their eyes. Chace smirked and sauntered towards a chair, settling down and spinning the keys for the SUV car that we came in around his finger.
'What did you do to him!' I screeched in disgust and watched his smirk grow wider as he motioned the men to bring me to him. I was carried towards him, away from Alex despite my squirming and thrown down on my knees at his feet. His muscles flexed in his suit as he reached down and clasped my chin staring at me in the eyes.
'I gave him what he deserved he whispered,' Chace whispered then turned towards the men and continued, 'Tie her up.'
Before I had the time to protest they had me by both arms and were tying me up next to Alex, both my arms spread away from eachother. As they tied the rope tighter it dug into my skin, drawing out blood as I screamed in agony. After they were done, they moved back and Chace stood up from his seat taking a few steps forwards so he was standing between me and Alex.
'Now it begins...' he proclaimed, a throaty yet maniacal chuckle errupting from him.
