Chapter 33 (Clearing Things Up)

(A/N) Hey guyzz I knoe its been a long waitt but had tonss of exams and still do hope you like itt bit dramatic but tell me what you guyz think and yea I haven't done a proof read on the story so there will be grammer and spelling errors sorry bout that but tell me Seth or Alex??? Any ideas of whats gona happen next?

I pushed past the crowded hospital corridor getting a few dirty looks from people, but I didn't care about that right now. The stench of antiseptic and blood filled my senses as I cringed in disgust keeping my eyes set on Alex. I could feel tears tricking my eyes but I couldn't cry now I had to stay strong. How could I have let this happen? It was dark as we stepped outside; the sun had almost set leaving only an outline of the building we came though.

'Alex please wait!' I shouted again my voice breaking from all the emotions I was holding in. It came out as a plea.

'There is nothing to say and to be honest I think at the back of my mind I always had a doubt,' he whispered in a cracked voice looking straight at me with his tear filled gaze as I couldn't find the courage to look back.

'Just listen to me please it’s not what you think...' I started off but was cut off by him again.

'It doesn’t matter anymore f you wana be with him the go for all I care!' he spat out venom laced in his shaking voice. That one sentence caused my heart to shatter into a million pieces. Pushing it aside as I knew this was the anger speaking or I hoped it was I tried to place a hand on his shoulder but he flinched away.

'I love you,' I whispered as he retreated back to his car which made his figure stop instantly, his back still to me.

It was as if the whole world was on pause as all that could be heard were our breathing and heartbeats.

He turned around walking towards me again and stopping inches away from me.

'Are you sure that’s not what you feel for him Ani?' he whispered in my ear causing tingles to shoot through my entire body.

'I only think of Seth as a friend nothing more the only reason you saw me like that was because i accidentally tripped and landed like that and while I tried to get up you came and left before I could explain!' I mumbled with a gloomy face.

Suddenly Alex broke into a fit of laughter as my eyebrows furrowed in confusion and my mouth set in a grim line. How could he possibly fond something funny enough to laugh about at a time like this?

'How can you think this is even the least bit funny? Do you even know how upset I was?' I screamed throughout him an accusing glare. His laughter slowly died away as he took in my distraught appearance.

'Hey I was just having a hard time okay and then when I saw you with Seth I just flipped. I'm sorry but admit it you would have done the same!' he raised an eyebrow in a knowing manner.

'Nuh uh I would have...maybe,' I mumbled as he burst into another round of raucous laughter. This time I had enough as I started to walk away I was pulled back into a hug.

'Let me go!' I hissed.

'I was just having fun Ani you should have seen your face all pouty you looked like a lost puppy!' he grinned as a slight smile broke out onto my face.

'Praise the lord the princess has smiled,' he reached to the sky in an overly dramatic way as I slapped his chest and giggled.

'And anyway I've learnt never to do what you can now and savor who knows if you will live to see a tomorrow?' he smiled even though it didn't reach his eyes. I could feel he was sad and out soon enough.
