'Hey wait!' I called out to the fading figure, trying my best to keep up.
'Hey Ani where you goin?' Seth shouted behind me but I just ignored him and continued increasing my pace. There was a crowd and despite getting pushed, cussed, and thrown around I was determined not to let him out of my sight.
The school was empty, filled with an eerie silence as I stepped foot inside, due to the fact that everyone was outside, chilling in the back field. It was summer for god sakes! My ears amazingly picked up a quick patter of footsteps. It was coming from the science corridor. Other then being slightly scared because of how abandoned the corridors were I was actually quite excited but I didn't waste anytime in arriving to my destination. One of the doors closed at the far end and I instantly jogged towards the room.
'Hello? I know you're in here,' I proclaimed as the door creaked open like it does in some cheap teen horror film. As the whole room came into view my eyes dropped to a person wearing a hood standing with his back towards me in the far corner of the room.
'Hello, who are you?' I whispered my voice wavering ever so slightly. Sweaty palms and a dry throat matched the tense atmosphere perfectly. The familiar stranger stayed perfectly still not even flinching at the sound of my nervous voice.
'Hey defo I asked you who you are...Turn around!' I insisted, my voice becoming shrill as the impatience was now showing. At my words the figure turned around to face me and a gasp escaped my lips as realisation kicked in and I recognised the masked face with his only a pair of fascinating blue eyes showing.
'YOU!' I exclaimed. My blood began to boil in rage as images of the night my brand new porsche was slaughtered mercilessly flashed before my eyes.
'How, why...what are you doing here?' I stuttered, unable to find the right words.
'Shhh don't worry my pineapple I only came to remind you of that date you promised me...' he sniggered as his eyes played a pleased look in them.
'What? NO! Of course not!' I protested.
''Aren't you forgetting that you're my girlfriend now?' he cautioned raising an eyebrow at my rejection.
'Well...well...urm well then I officially break up with you!' I proceeded feeling exceedingly satisfied with myself.
'I'm afraid you can't do that my little pineapple because you see I know exactly where you live,' his warning voice informed me! (As if I didn't already know)
'Yeah so!' I challenged trying to sound oblivious to his threat.
'So, I also know where you sleep at night and that your parents are going out of town today for two weeks, leaving you all alone in quite a big house...' he continued. My eyes buldged out of my sockets as I went over what he had just said. In my head I thought 'What a stalker!'
'How...how do you know that you psychotic, stalker, crazy shithead! You can't do that, what the hell! I don't like you so get over it or I'll call the police and then we'll see who gets stalked!' I loud whispered my voice clearly illustrating how alarmed I was. A deep chuckle errupted from him and I couldn't help noticing how sexy it sounded. What the hell! How can I think that! He's a lunatic who's stalking me!
'You wouldn't do that, because you like the fact that your my girlfriend, infact you want me to follow you around!' I could feel the wide grin on his face right now.
'Oh really if you trust me so much then take your mask of then,' I backfired, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow. Without even a moment of delay he lifted off his hood and pulled his mask off. What I saw next made my mouth drop to the floor and eyes pop out. I feared I was drooling as I found myself not being able to take my stare of his godly face. Every feature was sculpted to perfection and I couldn't help but notice how his eyes changed colour. Sometimes they were blue the sometimes an olive green in the sunlight! His blonde spiked hair contained highlights of a darker shade and his lips curled up in a perfect smirk as the light outlined his perfect cheekbones.
'You might want to stop drooling its a very unattractive quality,' he smugly commented. I quickly shut my mouth and gave him a sarcastic smile trying extremely hard to deny my feelings towards him.
'I wasn't drooling, I was just evaluating if you were gay or not...' I answered back not being able to help myself as a laugh escaped my lips. This outburst wiped the smile of his smug face and the glint of mischief found its way back in his gaze.
'Well then I'm just going to have to prove you wrong then aren't I?' he said dangerously creeping towards me.
'N..n..no I was...ju...jus...just joking...' I stuttered afraid of what he was planning with that devious grin on his face.
'Oh no really I don't want my girlfriend thinking I'm gay now do I...' he kept moving closer then before I could stop him he was standing right before me and had all my attention. The didtance between us was so short that I could feel his breath fanning across my longing lips. I was glued to the spot, unable to move even a fraction of an inch away from him. Snapping me out of my thoughts, he pushed his lips onto mine and I melted into his arms after failing to resist him. The kiss was urgent yet sweet and gentle. I pulled him closer to me closing the miniscule gap between us. The feel of his soft lips against mine made butterflies flutter madly in my stomach. Realising what I was doing I pulled away and pushed him hard on his chest making him stumble back a little.
'No, what is wrong with you!' I screamed at him.
