Snapping out of my thoughts I proceeded to quickly follow him out of the cabin. It was a beautiful day and everything just seemed perfect, from the trees whistling in the light breeze to the twinkle on every shard of grass.
'Coming?' Alex called out with a massive grin on his face causing me to again wonder about his phone call. Opening the car door I slipped into the warm leather seat and opened the windows low.
'So where are we going?' I questioned tapping my fingers on the edge of the window. Alex put the car into drive and reversed until we reached the main road. He then swerved the car around until we were heading straight before finally turning to acknowledge my question.
'Well if I told you, that would just ruin the whole concept of a surprise wouldn't it pineapple?' he winked taking a right at the intersection. His eyes were twinkling with excitement as we got closer to our destination, mirroring my own emotions, aside from the slight nervousness settling in aswell.
'But I really want to know!' the words slipped from my mouth, and he just laughed while I huffed and crossed my arms in annoyance.
'Suck it up babe you're just going to have to wait,' he drawled, giving a small laugh at the end and running his fingers through his tousled hair.
'Don't call me babe,' I pouted making a repulsed face at the incoherent word. It sounded so...sleazy.
'Why not babe...' His voice continued to drawl on in a teasing manner as I opened my mouth to say something, but was interrupted as I realised we had reached a huge empty field with a massive white sheet held up in the middle. Few meters back there was a huge projector and a small sofa, along with blankets, pillows, popcorn and other snacks.
'NO WAY!' I screamed in excitement, suppressing the urge to jump up and down like a kid who just got a visit from Santa Claus.
'You know I just realised we haven't actually had a proper date yet, so I thought better now them after junior is born.' The grin on my face was actually so wide I thought it would break my face at any moment.
'If I could love you any more then I already do then this would be it,' I whisper as he tangles his fingers through mine and leads us through the field. As we begin to walk I finally notice the lamps dotted around the big screen and sofa that light up once we get closer. I think I'm dead.
After a few minutes we settle down into the blankets and a result my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me. Soon a movie starts playing, it's the notebook. I feel my eyes tear, but not because I'm sad, it's because my body is so happy it doesn't know what else to do other then express it through tears.
'Thank you,' I whisper, giving him a quick peck on the cheek and snuggling closer as the movie begins.

As the credits start to roll I start to hear a light tune begin to play in the background, at first I think nothing of it but then as it gets louder, the screen turns black before photos of me and Alex start flitting across the screen. The song playing is 'Marry me' by Jason Derulo. While I am captivated by the slideshow I don't realise Alex taking my hand into his and bending down on one knee. My eyes tear away from the scene as I stand up and look down into his twinkling eyes. I can feel hot tears streaming down my face as I watch him pull out a box from his pocket.
As the song draws to an end the images switch to a live video of us on the huge screen and Alex asks the words I've known the answer to since the day that I met him.
'Will you Analise Thompson take me Alex Pettyfer, notorious sexy, handsome, amazing kisser and dancer,' he pauses while I giggle, gurgling with the tears, 'let me have the honour of waking up every day next to you and junior...will you marry me?' he asks the smile on his face as wide as a Cheshire cats as I ecstatically nod my head and pull him up into a gigantic hug. He pulls back slightly and slips the simple yet stunning ring onto my finger as I cover my mouth in shock. I feel tingles run all through me as he claims my lips in a passionate kiss.
