Chapter 30 (His Return)

My breath caught in my throat as I beheld his sight. My mind wouldn't register what I was seeing as I desperately rubbed my eyes in amazement. His eyes shone like never before but had a tiredness in them and his dirty blonde hair was spayed out messily on his head giving him a badass look. The jacket he was wearing was torn on the arm as if it had been through some rough struggle but other then that I didn't see any other signs of injust. 

'Pineapple..' he smiled engulfing me in his arms and I nestled my head in the crook of his neck breathing in his wonderful scent. His touch had tingles travelling over me and I knew it would be difficult to let go now. With all the strength I could muster I pulled back moving his hands away from around me as tears prickled my eyes, threatening to spill out. 

'What are you doing here?' my voice was stone cold matching the atmosphere in this room. I sensed the hurt in his eyes as he noticed my restrained behaviour towards him. Reching out once again towards me I retracted creating a suitable distance between us.

'I cam back Ani I couldn't bear to be with out you...its all over now they ha-'

'Stop..just stop!' I interuppted my voice seeming firmer than I thought it would sound. Taking a deep breath I continued, 'Lies they're all lies the truth is Alex that you left me, you left me heartbroken and not ONCE did you even try and ask if I was okay or let me talk or see you!' I screamed not caring if my voice could be heard. Tears were now freely trickling down my face as I wiped them away furiously trying to hide the pain now finally errupting from inside. 

'No pineapple it's not like that...I love you you know that this was all for you if anything happened to you I wouldn't be able to live with myself!' he desperately tried to explain pinning me by the shoulders as I just shook my head in hysteria.

'Love? What kind of love is this? If this love causes me so much pain then I don't want it Alex....I don't want it.' I was literally shaking now tears streaming endlessly down my face as it was now out of my control. My sobs came out in hiccups as I muffled them with my hand and tried my best to surpress them, sliding down the wall until I was curled up in a corner. Everything was blurred from the watery eyes I now head as I continued sniffiling.

'Pineapple please don't say that I am so sorry and i don't even imagine how I can make up for the pain I have caused you. I never wanted to get you hurt but ever since the time I first saw you I couldn't keep away, it was like I was just drawn to you through an instant connection. And then I just messed it up by getting you into this whole company mess and left you in such a state without saying goobye. Believe me it was not my intention..I love you and I need you to know that i will never leave you again. Just hear me out meet me at Willow park tomorrow at 10 am and I'll tell you everything!' he pleaded as I thought it all out in my head. No matter what he did I knew I could never hate him and right now I was fighting between the urge to punch him and kiss him.

'Ani you okay who's in there?' there was a knock at the door as I heard Angela's voice drift through the door. Immediately I wiped the tears from my swollen eyes trying to clean up as best as possible as Alex was already by the window climbing out. 

'I'll be waiting..' he whispered hope pouring from his eyes as he disappeared through the window as another knock resounded from the door.

'Ani you open this door right now or I seriously will break it down!' she warned knocking harder and I actually believed her so without waiting any further I exerted the door open to a very frustrated looking Angie.
