Within this statement, I again claim my copyrights for this story. Started december 19 2019, and finished october 4 2020 this story belongs to me and me only. The plot of the story has been created by me and I am the rightful, original author. I own the characters created in this story: Dagmar Borsheim, Sarah and their friends. The other characters in the story are either celebrities, or existing personages that have not been created by me. I do not own the quotes, pictures, videos and songs listed in the playlist.

In case you want to use/adapt this plot, I have the right to be legally credited and to legally give permission. In case you want to translate this work, you need my permission. Without my permission, I will not allow the story to be used, translated, or adapted.

Hello everyone,

As you have noticed yesterday and today, I have had some difficulties with copyrights infringement and this Tinder story with Lando. I finished this story last year, and I'm so happy that it's loved by so many people! Unfortunately, someone loved it a little too much, and copied the story in another language. The names of the characters were changed, but next to that it was exactly the same.

I contacted the writer about it, and asked to credit me as the original author. As you know, I allow translations of my stories as long as I am credited properly. The writer agreed, and the book mentioned that it was originally written by me, but adapted here and there by herself. The writer removed the credits today, and I had to ask for them to be put back. The writer did this, but I did not feel comfortable with it at all. As the original writer I should not have to ask for credits. After filing a claim for copyright infringement at Wattpad support, and after their revision, they have deleted the infringed work.

This made me feel relieved, but not comfortable enough to republish the other chapters yet. Don't worry, this will come in time, after I'm assured that the writer will not infringe one of my works again.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PREVENT COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT?

I was alerted by the copyright infringement, because one of you has reported the other story, and that way Wattpad notified me. I'm incredibly thankful for that! You can report a story with the flag button, and then you have to answer a couple questions. The writer of the original work will be alerted if you give their username and URL of the original work. Only the writer can file a claim. As a reader, you can only help to notify the writer.

As a writer, you can go to the helpcenter and select the copyright infringement tab. There, you can see an expanded explanation of your rights, what you can file as infringement, and how you can do this. Most likely within a day, Wattpad support will help you. I wanted to share this with you, because my work is probably not the only work that was infringed.

At the moment, there is one translation of Tinder. It is translated in Hungarian by Judy_Taurus . This author has my permission to translate all the content within this book, and the author credits every chapter to me. This is the only recognized and allowed translation of Tinder so far. If you come across another one, report it for copyright infringement.
