"There's something about you". Sarah stated when she walked next to Dagmar across the campus to the building they were having class in. "Oh?". Dagmar rose her eyebrows. She had taken twenty minutes to get out of bed this morning and she ate breakfast on the tube, she couldn't be looking any different than normal. "Dude!". Dagmar laughed as Sarah moved closer to sniff her. "Yeah, exactly. You smell like a dude's showergel". Sarah stated with a wide grin. "Did you go out and meet someone?". She immediately wanted to know. "Did you sleep at his place...?". She nudged her side and Dagmar wished she could cover her red cheeks. "Okay, Sarah. Stop". Dagmar sighed and Sarah's smile sunk. "Look, I'm sorry-...". "I've been seeing Lando". Dagmar spilled. "You've been- What?". Sarah squealed and received a slap on the arm. "I matched up with the real one". Dagmar quietly said.

"So we've been out a couple times". She added. "And you didn't tell me?". Sarah scoffed. "Just because we're seeing each other doesn't mean we're in a relationship, Sarah". Dagmar rolled her eyes. "Besides, I didn't want your enthusiasm to take over and tell everyone you know". She said. "You know this now, so keep your mouth shut. I mean this, I will literally chop your head off if you-...". "I get it!". Sarah rose her hands in defeat. "I will not say his name if we talk about him and I will not tell anyone I know about him". She swore next. "It's just for now, okay? If we keep seeing each other when his racing season starts then I don't mind whoever knows". Dagmar said and they continued to walk to the building. She pulled the door open and the two girls got in to make their ways to the college room.

"So you're smelling like his showergel?". Sarah stated now after they entered the room and sat down half way, pulling their laptops out of their bags to write notes later. "We went out last Thursday with some of his friends, he offered me to stay the night and I did. I showered while he cooked breakfast". Dagmar gave a short summary. "Nothing else... more juicy?". Sarah wiggled her eyebrows and she giggled when Dagmar gave her a glance. "He's twenty and I'm nineteen, we don't have much experience you know". She added. "It's always good to explore!". Her friend shrugged. "We just kissed". Dagmar said. "Is he... a good kisser?". Sarah briefly thought about her question and leaned her head on her hand while listening to Dagmar. "He's a good kisser". Dagmar confirmed. "And we are good students". She said next, opening the Word file to start her notes. "So you shut up and we pay attention". Sarah mocked her gently while getting ready for class to start too.

Dagmar loved following history classes and she didn't mind listening to the professor for a long amount of time. Sarah next to her was rather distracted and sometimes grabbed onto her phone to type a text or to browse on Instagram. She was glad the end of the lesson was in sight after two hours. Dagmar closed the screen of her laptop and put it back in its case. "Are you still free this Friday?". Sarah while they walked through the hallway to the cafeteria. "Of course, I'm keeping those saved for you, don't worry". Dagmar smiled. "Great, because I think it should be your treat". Sarah stated. "I mean, if I didn't force you to download Tinder, you would've never met Lando, who you're dating now". Sarah emphasized. "Oh, right". Dagmar glanced over at her friend. "You can get a free smack in the face too". She shot back and it caused Sarah to snort. "But okay, I guess I owe you one". Dagmar gave in and Sarah hooked her arm in hers. "Are you seeing each other again this week?". She asked when they sat down at their usual spot.

"Yeah, on Sunday. He's coming over for a lazy day in". Dagmar said and turned the cap off her smoothie bottle. "He's quite busy with the preparations for the winter testing in Barcelona in two weeks". "It's also Valentinesday soon. Like in two days". Dagmar nearly spat out her sip of the fruit drink. "So?". She coughed and it made Sarah raise a brow. "Aren't you supposed to do something together?". "He has the car launch tomorrow". Dagmar replied. "Besides, we're nothing official". She emphasized once more. "I don't expect him to do anything for Valentinesday". She waved her friend away. "You're making this all about me now. What happened to Noah, the love of your life?". Dagmar changed the subject and Sarah sighed, dropping her head in her hands again. "He considered me needy, so he wanted to take a break so I told him to fuck off if he couldn't handle how clingy I am". Sarah bluntly spoke, making Dagmar shake her head with a soft chuckle.

"You will find someone who can handle how clingy you are, Sarah". Dagmar comforted her friend. "You go out on one date and find like, the man you'll be marrying in five years and I've been on so many dates and I never found a guy I'm that blown away about". Sarah pouted. "Maybe you should stop dating for a while". Dagmar shrugged. "The single life is also pretty damn great". She added before taking a bite of her sandwich. "I'll think about it". No way in hell Sarah would think about it. "Whatever you want". Dagmar replied. "When will I meet him who shall not be named?". Sarah dramatically sighed. "Well, not any time soon. Building up a relationship with him means I don't want anyone else to be involved for now". Dagmar said and Sarah mocked her again. "I'm just excited, Dagmar. I know you've never been around a guy like this and I'm just happy for you". Dagmar sighed now. "Then stay happy for me for a little longer and wait till we are ready".

"Okay". The blonde replied now and it remained quiet for a while as Dagmar turned her eyes to her phone, unlocking the screen to tap on the Instagram icon. "But I definitely want to know when you're doing more than just sleepi-...". "Sarah!".

"Hey, darling". Dagmar felt a warm stream of feelings moving through her chest when she heard Lando's voice through the phone. He had picked up a few seconds after she clicked on his contact to call him. "Hey". She breathed, pulling the blanket higher up her body while her laptop was settled next to her and playing a series. "I thought I should call you to ask about the car launch". Dagmar continued. "I wanted to call you earlier. It was a very busy day". Lando replied. "Don't worry about it". She smiled. "How was it? I've seen the revealing life, the car looks great". Dagmar spoke into her phone. "Yeah, it's kicking!". He enthusiastically replied. "Our suits look good too. And the reveal was such a great event. I loved attending it again". He added. "And now I just can't wait to see you again this weekend. I hope I can stay awake, Jon is going to torture me during training this Saturday". Lando chuckled. "We'll be fine". She giggled. "I ehm...". Dagmar started. "I told Sarah about us. I hope it's okay, I just couldn't keep it away from her and-...".

"Dagmar, it's fine". Lando laughed. "She's a close friend, she would've only gotten more suspicious". He added and Dagmar nearly sighed in relief. "I just don't want to screw it up in any way". She softly said. "I like what we have now, Lando. I love being with you and I don't want even my best friend to ruin that". She explained. "I don't think she will, babe". Dagmar gnawed down on her bottom lip at the nickname that tumbled over his lips. "It won't make me change my mind about you. Now it's your turn to not worry about it". They both laughed at what he said. "By the way, I've been wanting to ask you something, I'm bit ahead of time though". Lando continued. "We already planned something on Sunday, but tomorrow is a day I don't want to skip". A small smile curled her lips as she remained quiet to listen to him. "Do you want to be my Valentine tomorrow?". Dagmar let a giggle pass her lips and she clasped her hand over her mouth. "Of course".

"Amazing". Lando smiled as well. "I'll pick you up tomorrow night and we can have some dinner at a cute place or something. Are you up for that?". Dagmar hummed. "Obviously". She replied with a laugh. "But one thing". She said next. "I don't want any Valentinesday gifts. If you didn't plan anything, keep it that way, but I don't want more expensive things". Lando sighed dramatically and it made her laugh once more. "Okay, I promise". He said. "Good". Dagmar smiled. "I should really go to sleep". She followed up with a yawn. "So should I". He answered, but she didn't want to sleep yet. His voice was way too soothing in her ear. "Just think that, when you wake up, you'll be my gorgeous Valentine all day, love". "I can't wait". She answered straight away. "So can't I, but we'll meet again tomorrow evening". She could hear the sheets rustling in the background. "Goodnight, Lando". Dagmar smiled while keeping the phone to her ear.

"Sleep tight, princess". They both ended the call after that and Dagmar rested her phone on her stomach. She swore she could cry at how sweet he was. She never had a Valentine before, unless she counted the one time in kindergarten a boy had drawn a heart for her, so Lando was her frist serious Valentine. And they would then have dinner tomorrow night and then he'd be back on Sunday for a movie day. Dagmar squealed at herself in happiness. He was the best person to come into her life ever.
