Dagmar slept in on Saturday. She had enjoyed her night with Lando a lot and she slept like a baby as soon as she hit her pillow on Friday night. She was overjoyed that he was actually Lando Norris and that he wasn't annoyed with her for constantly accusing him of not being real, but a Tinder catfish to mess with girls. Dagmar couldn't believe that a guy like him actually liked her and wanted to go out with her. She thought it was absolutely adorable how he was still standing by his car last night till she waved at him from behind her window. She sighed contently when she turned to her back, smoothing out the sheets that covered her stomach. A smile curled her lips without a thought and she reached out for her phone. Her enthusiasm and joy wanted to dial Sarah's number right away, however she knew Sarah wasn't someone who could keep her mouth shut about such a thing.

She felt like Lando already gave her a second chance by keeping their texts going till she found out he was really Lando, so she didn't want to mess up and accidentally spill everything which could cause things to get all fucked up. Dagmar saw she had a notification from Tinder and she was curious for who it could be. She seriously considered deleting the app now, however she knew she shouldn't be too upfront with that. She had a nice evening with Lando yet that didn't mean that they were in a relationship at all. They were acquaintances for now. Dagmar saw it was Lando who had sent her something and she opened the conversation rather quickly. He hadn't send her anything last night and it had made her slightly nervous. Dagmar wouldn't know why, he seemed to enjoy their dinner too. Her eyes flew over the text he typed and she felt her cheeks blushing pink meanwhile.

Good morning, darling. Hope you slept well. I thought I should send you my number so we don't have to communicate via this app anymore. That feels a bit... shady 😛

Dagmar laughed softly and she noticed he had sent it just fifteen minutes ago, so maybe he would reply quickly too. Her nails tapped against the screen of her phone when she replied to him.

Hey, Lando. That's a good idea, I was wondering about it too ☺️ Here's my number: +47 909 56 117

The text was delivered to his phone right away and Dagmar sat up in bed meanwhile, reaching out for her glass of water that stood on her nightstand. She sat back against the headboard of her bed, moving to her notes on her phone to distract her from waiting for his text. She started to type down what she needed to pack for her week in Oslo with her family. The distraction didn't help by the way, but she did get far with the list of things she absolutely couldn't forget. It took a couple minutes before an unknown number showed up on the top of her screen and she swiped to it to see the message.

It's me. Your 🐱🐠 Sorry it took so long. Had some difficulties understanding a country code 🙃

Dagmar scoffed and rolled her eyes, still amused by his text and she added his number to her contacts. She clicked on his profile picture next, seeing he used the same as on his Instagram profile. His status was a simple waving emoji.

Oh, I'm sure you won't, but don't publish or share my number okay? I trust you anyway.

Of course I won't. Wouldn't want to share you with other girls 😉

Who's obsessive now huh? 😏

Dagmar giggled and already felt comfortable while texting with Lando. She hoped the contact wouldn't falter over the holidays, even though he mentioned that he wanted to meet up again if she had time in January. She guessed he would be in London all the time for the first days back at McLaren too.

I really loved last night. I'm looking forward to meet you again in the new year.

Dagmar replied seriously and the marks on the side of her text turned blue as he read it right away. It fel great to have his attention like this and that he was focussing on what she was sending at the moment. God, Lando made her feel so many things and it caused her stomach to do a couple backflips in response.

Me too, love. I'm sure we can squeeze something in, in January or else later if you have the time.

Dagmar kept her eyes on her phone and waited for him to finish the next message he was typing before sending anything else.

I have to go now, but we can surely chat later. Or call. Whatever you want, love 😚

I have to go too, start packing up for my flight. I'm sure we'll talk later.

She swore she could scream at the moment. Like hang her head out of the window and just let out a high pitched, uncontrolled, totally crazy scream because Lando seemed to be e v e r y t h i n g she could wish for in a guy. He's kind, so handsome, mannered and the nicknames made her weak at the knees. Dagmar finally let herself give in to the feeling she had for the days she spend talking to him on Tinder, not knowing for sure if he was a liar or not. Her life couldn't get any better now. She was seeing her family in a few days, relaxing during the break and she seemed to have established something that could the start of something great with such a nice guy. Dagmar leaned her head against the wall and in her head she already pictured herself with him wherever he went, supporting his career and oh my god why is she doing that. She shook her head. "Don't get obsessed, Jesus, bitch". Dagmar spoke to herself while finally getting out of bed. She threw her phone down on her bed and collected some clothes to get to the shower, her morning was made anyway.

Lando seemed to be a parallel at the moment. He had also placed his phone down on his table when he saw she had read his text and then went offline. He smiled at himself, sighing contently and happy that his nerves about meeting her hadn't screwed it up. He had acted way more cool than he felt inside. Lando was happy that she had been so calm. Even though she had let him know she followed the sport and probably his career then too, she didn't freak out visibly or did something that let the other people in the restaurant know it was Lando Norris who was dining here tonight. He truly trusted her with his identity and he was sure she wasn't going to expose him to his fanaccounts. Because if his fanaccounts get to know everything... Lando chuckled at the thought while stripping from his clothes to hop under the running water. He wanted to tell his friends about it, enthusiastic that he had met such a nice girl. They probably expected him to be a casanova on the trip to Dubai.

He wasn't in the mood to flirt with girls there. He didn't want the pictures to appear on instagram of him and then hurt Dagmar. Even though they weren't in an established relationship at all, he still wanted her to know that he was serious about it all. It wasn't just a simple Tinder match to him. He really wanted to get to know her better and see her more often. She had already doubted him in the beginning and he felt like he had gotten a second chance by agreeing to meet up with him. He didn't want to fuck this up. Lando ruffled the shampoo through his hair before washing it out and he turned the water off while reaching for a towel that hung outside of the cabin. He dried his hair and body and slipped into some underwear while hopping out of the bathroom and trying to get some sweatpants on at the same time. Lando pulled one of his suitcases from under the bed, for once he had unpacked everything from the last raceweekend on time and washed the clothing he wanted to take.

He threw the thing on his bed and dug into his closet to see what he wanted to take along to Dubai. It was weird how Dagmar made him wish there was a button to press that would take him to January already. He had looked forward to go on a get away with his friends and now he was already looking forward to something in the new year. He shook his head at himself. Lando hoped she felt the same about it and their feelings would develop further. He didn't know why he felt like he had such an intense connection with her already. Perhaps because they had such a good talk during the dinner and he felt like she was so open about her life and everything. Maybe, if everything went perfect, he could ask if she wanted to visit him for a day in Barcelona during the testing season. He could get her a McLaren paddock pass and buy her plane ticket to make sure she wouldn't add too much to her college money debt. Lando scoffed at himself. He was planning their future while they had seen each other once so far.

He didn't want them to move too fast, that would ruin things too. He shouldn't follow his brain, he made stupid decisions some times, but when his heart started beating faster when he thought of her, he was sure his brain and heart were both in on him to make considerable choices. Lando only felt the butterflies twirling around in his stomach when he thought back on how she kissed his cheek, how beautiful her smile was in real and maybe... Maybe this is all meant to be and he should follow her and his intuitions, and everything was going to be alright. There were a lot of maybe's in his thoughts, but the thing he was sure of, was that he couldn't wait to see her again.
