"Hey, what's that frown for?". Sarah nudged Dagmar's ribs. "Lando left to Australia last night". She sighed, a soft pout showing up on her lips. "Haven't you spend the weekend together?". Sarah asked. "As if you're not clingy, Sarah". The brunette rolled her eyes, causing Sarah to laugh a little. "Yeah, but my boyfriend has time and your boyfriend is travelling the world like every week from now on". Dagmar shook her head. "Thanks for reminding me of it". She replied. "But yeah, we spend the weekend together before he left. I don't want to be clingy at all but I already miss him?". She said as if she wasn't sure of it either. "I'm sure you'll call each other a lot". Sarah waved her away. "He took you to Barcelona with him, Dagmar. He wouldn't do it if he's afraid to damage his public image or get into PR trouble or something". Her friend reasoned. Of course she was right and Lando had told her many times already that he absolutely wouldn't forget about her while he was in another continent.
And that wasn't what she was afraid of, she guessed. She was just afraid that the feelings they both have, of being in love and the butterflies flying around and the all the pink clouds and that kind of lovey-dovey shit when you have your first relationship, she was afraid that those feelings would fade away and that she'd feel nothing when he returned from his raceweekends. She was afraid that they'd have less and less contact and then just decide to break up because that's easier. Dagmar snapped out of her spiral of thoughts, closing her eyes briefly while she heard her professor going on in the background. Stop being so goddamn dramatic. She sighed at herself, taking a sip of her water. It was all going to be fine and it's not like you're going to fall out of love in a week. Dagmar picked up her pen again and started to continue with writing her notes, Sarah next to her was on her phone anyway, so she wouldn't have any notes if she didn't write them herself.
Dagmar was glad the lecture was over after fifty minutes and the two friends made their way to the cafeteria, having an hour before their next class started. Only two hours left and she was off for today. This evening, she was going to have her first working day at the burger restaurant. Carlos had managed to put in a good word for her and she had applied for the job as a waitress. Dagmar was happy that she got the job, she could use the money and it would keep her busy when Lando was away for his races. Nevertheless, she was eager to get in front of the TV and watch the free practices and everything that followed from Friday to Sunday this weekend. Sarah was occupied by her boyfriend this weekend anyway. Dagmar had forgotten his name, but she didn't really feel guilty as Sarah hopped from guy to guy at times anyway. Sarah wouldn't understand the fear she had for falling out of love with Lando either. Dagmar sometimes asked herself if Sarah had ever been in love.
Anyways, the guy that currently made Sarah happy was taking her out for the weekend and Dagmar was fine with staying in her apartment to watch F1 and go out for work during the evening. Dagmar got her smoothie from her bag, opening the cap of the bottle before taking a sip, her laptop was opened in front of her and she worked on an assignment meanwhile. "So, what have you and Lando been doing this weekend?". Sarah asked, looking up from her phone as she brushed her hair out of her face. "Just relaxing at his place. He cooked for me". Dagmar smiled. "Ahw, that's so romantic. Is he a good cook?". She asked. Dagmar laughed. "Not really, but I didn't get poisoned or anything, the food tasted quite cook. He's clumsy". She smiled at the thought of how many times he had burned himself on either the frying pan or the hot plate. "You didn't end up getting take away". Sarah stated as she chuckled and Dagmar shook her head. "No, we didn't. It was nice". Dagmar said, looking back at her laptop.
"But you haven't done something more fiery than cooking?". Sarah sighed, looking at her nails and then back up at Dagmar with an eyebrow wiggle. "Some couples spend time together without having sex every day, Sarah". Dagmar gave her a glance and rose her eyebrow at her friend. "I'm sorry, but he trains every day, he must have the stamina of a horse to keep you up all night and fu-...". "Sarah, jesus christ". Dagmar bit her lip to hide her giggles as she looked around to make sure nobody was listening to their conversation. "Have you at least done it once?". Dagmar couldn't believe they were discussing her sexlife in the cafeteria of university, but she nodded eventually. "Yes, we have. And you don't need to know more than that". She stuck out her tongue and typed away on the keyboard of her laptop again.
