Lando sighed contently when Dagmar's head rested on his chest. They had been watching a movie after they drove by McDonalds for a take away order, ending her graduation day in style. Her gorgeous dress was replaced with one of his long sleeved shirts, the shirt large enough to reach her thighs and she had pulled the sleeves over her hands, taking the material in her fists. Dagmar was watching the TV intently, concentrated, however something was gnawing at the back of her mind. She sat up all in sudden, looking over at him. A soft smile curled his lips and he got the remote to pause the movie. "Something on your mind?". Lando asked. "Don't you think we need to talk a little more about us being back together? Today flew by pretty quickly". Dagmar said, her large eyes gliding over his face. "Do you want to talk about it? I don't have anything to add to what I already told you this afternoon". Lando's hand reached up to caress her face.

"I don't know". She let out a breathy laugh. "I think the break up was my fault". Dagmar said next. Lando shook his head. "We were both in the relationship, Dagmar. There are often two to blame". Lando replied. "We weren't prepared for that I had to leave for my races and with you still being in school, we probably started our relationship too early, but we never lost the feeling of love for each other". He continued. "It was the right person, wrong time, kind of moment. And it sadly made us go through a lot of emotions". Lando said and she nodded. "The feeling of missing you all the time was... It just made me feel as if my heart was crushed in my chest every time. And I didn't want to bother you with it all the time, feeling as if I was dramatic and asking for attention". Dagmar rolled her eyes at herself. "At the same time I felt egoistic for keeping you in the grasp of our relationship and I was such a bore while we went out when you came back". Lando chuckled at the soft pout on her face.

"But now you're graduated. You'll be twenty this year. You're so young. Instead of looking for a job or another study, take the year off. Let's invest in us instead of only one of us". Lando said, making her pout disappear, replaced by a smile now. "Won't it be harder for us to part then, later?". Dagmar asked. "We don't have to spend every moment glued together from now on and you don't have to join me on every race". He chuckled and it made her laugh too. "You're right, let's worry about that later and just enjoy the time we have together". Dagmar said and Lando nodded in agreement. He leaned forward and kissed her lips, pecking them a couple times. "I have three weeks of summer break at work, starting in August. I think we have two weeks together then before you're heading to Spa". Dagmar said. "We can look for a nice location to go to, get away together for a bit". Lando suggested. "That's nice". Dagmar smiled. "And maybe you can come to Norway sometime as well". She carefully touched the subject and she felt relieved when a smile curled his lips too.

"Of course". Lando said and they looked into each others eyes for a moment. "Shall we finish the movie now?". Dagmar hummed and they both chuckled as their short pause had been a little longer than a short pause. Lando clicked on the play button again and she rested back against his chest, his arm curling around her and she sighed contently as she was back in his embrace that she had missed a lot more than she liked to admit.

When Dagmar woke up the next morning, the other side of the bed was empy. She rolled onto her back and she stretched her arms above her head as she softly yawned. She pulled the sheets further up to her chin, her nose catching a whiff of his cologne that lingered on the fresh duvet. Dagmar was quiet as she looked around his room, surprisingly neat for once, which made her chuckle at herself. She sat up and swung her legs over the edge of the bed, making her way to the curtains and opening them. The sun was shining into the garden and it seemed like it was going to be a beautiful day outside. Dagmar padded downstairs on her bare feet, assuming he was somewhere in the apartment. She hadn't heard his enthusiastic gaming sounds coming from his simulator room either. Dagmar walked around the corner, into the kitchen and she grabbed a glass of water for her dry throat. She heard some music outside and she noticed the garden doors were opened. A small smile curled her lips as she went into the garden and saw him working some exercises on a matt in the grass.
