Hootys moving hassle

Luna pov:
I spot Amity and her forced friends and I go over to be by Amity.

"Hey Ames" I say catching her attention as I wrap an arm around her waist, "how are you doing?"

She sighs and leans against me slightly.

To anyone else it'd seem like we were a couple but we weren't just really good friends....... okay that's a lie, but I haven't had the courage to ask her out..... even though I have a 10 step plan, I don't feel.... ready? I guess you say, I know that she'd accept, I think I mean she blushes around me all the time too but it could be from embarrasment or something, idk

Amity speaking catches my attention, "Boschas forcing me to do a moonlight conjuring, and I have too or else my parents....."

"Oof, that sucks"

"Yeah, do you wanna come?" She asks, "you'd at least make things bearable"

I smile slightly at her, "Sorry Ames but I've gotta buy help Eda with getting some more food and supplies, and some more.... medicine?" I say, we were actually out of elixir for her and I needed to get more.

Well tell her to get more, believe or not I don't do EVERYTHING at the owl house.

I mostly just help cook, help clean, make sure no one dies and make sure that King doesn't kill anyone..... or at least doesn't bring their dead body home........ one of those I've failed at one of those before....... don't ask which

Amitys expression falls slightly, "oh....."

"Sorry Ame's, maybe next time" I say trying to cheer her up

She simple hums

*time skip*
I sighed as I walk out of the library and started making my way home, I feel Sunny curl her tail around my neck as she sits on my shoulder.

After school, which was eventful..... I had felt bad about saying no to Amity and leaving her with those toxic friends.

And that had distracted me during beastkeeping, we were working with a Phoenix and since I was distracted I was messy.......

Long story short the Phoenix flew out of the classroom and I had to chase him down and get him back into the class.

Then I had my detention track 'meeting' as I think of the meeting with viney, jerbo, and Barcus, I thought to myself.

"I've gotta tell them lord calamity is Eda...... titan that's gonna be a Choatic....... I wonder what would happen If Luz met them..... probably chaos"

After I had finished up our 'club' meeting I had gone to the library to read to the kids. And they played with Sunny, who I had brought out as my three mixed track friends loved her.

Amity didn't seem mad at me so that made me feel better. She said good bye to me as I had left the library(also for clarification Amity reads to kids after school on weekdays and at lunch on weekends)

Now I was walking home, it was 5:00 pm(school ends at 3, the meeting ended at 4 and she finishes dreading to the kids at 4:50)

I walk up to the owl hosue to see hooty playing with some coven gaurds.

"Hey hooty have fun with your new..... friend?" I say.

"Hoot. I well hoot hoot" He says as he turns back to the poor soul who was chosen as hootys playmate, "tea party!" He yells as I inter the owl house.
