Luz had told the Owl house yesterday, about 2 days after the portal collapsed about her 'promise'

Needless to say everyone, especially one hybrid, was worried about it, and Luz as she had seemed so drained after

Luna had offered to look into the future but Luz had denied out if fear, it also probably wasn't a good idea as future aren't set in stone and can change

This morning, however, Luz decided she'd record a video on her way to school

Luna offered to help, but Luz had requested Luna to let her record on her own as she wanted her mom to be introduced slowly to the Boiling Isles

Luz also figured that adding that she had not one, but TWO girlfriends, wasn't going to help

the hybrid was a bit sad at the request, but understood and had agreed, leaving the human alone to record

"Hola, mami! I know you don’t want me staying in the Demon Realm.." Luz starts a little after Luna leaves

"Bu- but I’m recording this because I think we can find a middle ground! This is a world of magic and beauty!" Luz looks and points outside, "Just look!"

She moves the camere outside, but instead of the 'normal' front yard, Hooty slithers to a clothing rack

Luz zooms in on his face, mouth gap an confused and fearful, and Hootys breathing and growls can be heard

"HOLY FU-" Luz yells, before the camere shuts off

Luz makes her way to school and turns back on the camera

"Well you should know, I’m even learning magic!" Luz says to the camera, and activates a light glyph

"And as a human, it impresses pretty much everyone" Luz says with a smiel

Behind her, Boscha bumps into Luz as she walks and turns to glare, only for he Reyes to and on the light ball

She stares into the light ball, by accident and screams, covering her eyes and roofline in pain

Boscha looks up quickly as the light ball evaporates, "Human!"boscha yells

The hybrid starts drawing a spell circle, "if you EVER do that again I will set your EYES ON FIRE!"

As Bsocha finishes the circle, fire appears from it and is sent at Luz, who yells and stumbles back

*time skip*
Luz runs as fast as she can to Hexside, once inside she starts recording again

Thw humans hair isbstill partially on fire and she pinches it out

Luz chuckles nervously and looks round, "sure, the Demon Realm can be a little…eh"

Luz move sher hand in a gesture, "But there’s no safer place than Hexside! School of Magic and Demonics, right Principal Bump?"

"Hmm?" Bump says then clears hid throat, "ah- Why yes! The well-being of our students is our top priority!"

Bump points to his side, "Which is why we send all out troublemakers to our new and improved detention pit!"

Luz mover her camera to the destination room as a Hexside guard drags a student into it

"Aah! Please, no!!" The oracle student began

The door opens, and the guard the throws the student inside

The student starts to cry, "help me....."
