the first day

Luna pov:
In the backstage of the school we wait for Luz to be called on.

Luz activates a light glyph and holds it between us all

"I-I'm not ready for this guys....... Maybe we should go back" the human says

"Nah kid, you got this, just do what we practiced!" Eda says, comforting her

"Yeah, you'll do great pup!" I say

Eda gives me a look and I glare at her, we basically have a whole conversation with looks
'Pup?'
'don't you fucking dare'
'Titan, okay.....'

Our attention turns back to the human, "But what if... What if I mess something up? Or what if I do something wrong?" She gasps, "What if I die?"

"Hey. Calm down, calm down. I had to do the same thing when I was a witchling. It's like a rite of passage. Granted, I was a little more skilled" Eda says

"Eda!" Luz yells

"1. That isn't helping and 2. Mine was more chaotic" I say and Luz gives me a questioning look

I look at her then look away, "......it was.... a very.... uh-..... explosive day?" I say, shrugging my shoulders

Eda laughs and we both glare at her, "Right, right. Sorry, sorry.... anyways, get pumped!"

"Pumped!" Luz repeats

"Get ready...."

Luz pulls her hood up, "Ready!"

"Now, go!" Eda yes and shoves her onstage

We peek at the front of the stage and see a spotlight aims at the closed curtains and a banner reading 'Hexside School: Entrance Exams'

The curtains opens and we get back behind stage.

Luz jumps on stage in a dark cloak.

"From the humblest of beginnings, a hero will rise" She says in a deep voice

"I have traveled from another realm and trained with a powerful witch to master dark and forbidden magic. I am..." she says on her normal one and takes cloak off with a twirl

"Luz Noceda!" She yells

The audience, which is only Bump with a clipboard, stares at her

Luz chuckles awkwardly and tosses confetti out of a fanny pack, "Confetti!"

"Right. The human that wants to be a witch, Against my better judgement I've allowed you to take this exam into Hexside...... But can you even do magic with all your uh...... human parts?" Bump asks, moving his fingers

"I sure can!" Luz yells and opens the fanny pack, "It's said that humans can't do magic"

She pulls out the ice and light glyphs and shows them to both sides of the auditorium.... even though no one is there

"but I discovered a lost technique that changes everything"
