Hunter sighs, "Sorry. I shouldn't take this out on you....I'm just...scared" he admits
Hunter gets up and puts flapjck, who chirps, in his cage as he hears the car coming
"Don't worry, Flap" hunter says, with a small smile, "If Belos is really here, I'll keep you safe"
He walks outside, waves to Camila and stops informt od Luz
"Hunter, what's wrong?" She asks
Hunter pauses, "Belos"
Luz looks him over confused
Hunter and Luz stand walk towards the shed and stand informed of it
"Are you sure you saw him? I thought The Collector destroyed Belos" Luz asks, panicked and confused
"Yeah, I'm- I'm sure" Hunter says, trembling with a Raleigh in hand
"Hey, We can wait for the others if you-" Luz starts
"No! We have to take care of this ourselves!" He yells, then sighs, "Titan, I hate this! I was never scared as the Golden Guard"
Luz picks up the masks they recently made of King and hooty
"Then how about we bring back some of that masked confidence, huh?" Luz says, hiding up the mask and growling
Hunter smiles, puts it on, and kicks open the door, "All right, Belos! What's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what we say~"
''That's right! So come out with your hands behind your creepy, dumb head!" Luz shouts from beside him
The wind howling, and object rattles, as the two teens look inside of rooms, and go downstairs, stopping as the wardrobe rattles
Luz walks over and opens it and both gasp and step back as the opossum hisses
"Oh, thank goodness. It's just a little angel" Luz says releived
"...yeah...angle..." Hunter repeats staring at where the opossum was
Hunter looks around the room once more, "No one's here, I- I guess it was just in my head...."
"Well, can't blame you for being paranoid after everything we've been through" Luz says, closing the wardrobe
"Yeah, You know, I just wanna make sure everyone's safe...." Hunter says
"Same. And that includes you too" Luz says, Bumping him on the shoulder
"....What?" Hunter akss, confused
"Yeah, Gonna make sure you're safe too, Hunter....You're family now" Luz says
"Oh" Hunter chuckles, and tears start falling, as Luz pulls him closer
He sniffles and wipes his eyes as he takes off the mask, "Ah, this mask is pretty gross now...."
The two laugh, and start going back upstairs
"Let's get back before anyone worries" Luz says, walking up the stairs
"Yeah, Everything's okay....Belos is gone" Hunter says, door closing behind them
*time skip*
Lunas pov:
"Hey, we're back!" Hunter says with a chuckle, "And we bought some, uh, cars"
Luz elbows him, putting the bat behind her back
"....I hate your old enough to drive and I'm not....can drive on my staff I know that much" I grumble, tail waving beside me
