I got out of my car headed towards my favourite Café in town to get myself my favourite knotted doughnuts.

I noticed a lot of stares as I was walking in the the building but they didn't bother me as much since that had been my life since I was born. I still remained calm even after Caleb announced what I was to him during his Vogue interview. Basically we have been the talk of the whole country.

"Good morning, I am here for a pick up under the name Kyla." I told the lady at the counter.

"Please give me a few minutes I'll get it for you ma'am." The lady said politely.

"Thank you." I said.

I walked to the nearest seat and sat down pulling my phone out. I browsed through IG for a few minutes before a familiar voice called me.

"Kyla?" I looked up to see Deveon staring down at me. "Wow you look good."

"Deveon." I smiled at him. "Thank you but you don't look bad either." He smiled sitting next to me.

"So how have you been?" He asked.

"Great how about you?" He nodded.

"Me too." He took a deep breath. "I'm just sad I have to leave my family in a few weeks."

"Why?" I asked feeling worry come over me.

"I am going to be studying in UCLA and you know where it is right?" Of course I do.

"Yeah I mean who doesn't? But that's great news it's a great school congratulations."

"Yes it is and thank you. You're still staying?" I nodded.

"Yeah I don't want to leave my family and friends. Not that I am saying you are intentionally doing so, I'm just saying." He let out a laugh.

"I know what you mean Kyla it's okay. By the way are you here for breakfast? We could eat together." I checked the lady but she was still out of site.

"Not really I'm just here for a pick up which is taking super long if you ask me." We both laughed and the lady appeared with a white big box.

Finally!

I took out my credit card and gave her after she put them on the table.

I should have one, I thought to myself.

"I smell doughnuts." I looked at Deveon. I had even forgotten he was still here.

"You want one?" He shook his head.

"No thank you I don't like sweet stuff." Oh picky. Maybe he's on a diet. Too bad for him, he doesn't know what he's missing out on.

"You said when are you leaving again?" I asked as the lady gave me my card back.

"The fifteenth of August to be precise." I nodded and then gave him a smile.

"Well we should hang out before you leave. Matter of fact I think I promised your mom to visit again." He let out a chuckle.

"And you still haven't fulfilled your promise Kyla Davison." I laughed at his sarcasm.

"Please apologize on my behalf I've just been so busy I literally forgot." Lie. Well I have to lie obviously. "I'll text you when I'll come over okay?" I stood up and he did as well.

"I will hear from you then." I gave him a side hug then walked to the car.

After the café, I went to Hazel as we had planned on hanging out at her their penthouse.

Without the twins.

"Okay last question, if you were to marry your crush, do you think you would be happy with him forever?"
