You sharply inhaled a breath of fresh air.

Your eyes narrowed onto his, subtly glancing down at his soft, parted lips, before meeting with his gaze once again: "And, what if I do? What are you going to do about it?"

"What do you want me to do about it?" Levi tutted whilst shaking his head in discontent, "You're brave, I'll give you that, Y/N."

Continuing with your sit-ups, the Captain tilted his head curiously. He cleared his throat, his hands still clamped around your thighs to keep your body in the correct form for the exercise.

"Why were you asking, anyway?" Levi pondered, "About where I grew up."

"I don't know." You crinkled your brows together, not having expected him to want an explanation, "I was just wondering if maybe it would explain why you're such an-!"

"Watch it." His fingers pinched whilst gripping hold of you, earning a sharp-gasp of sharp-pain, "Behave."

"Yes, Captain." You sarcastically fluttered your eyes, warily smiling at his demure, irritated expression.

"You vex me - you know that, don't you?" He bitterly mumbled to himself, harshening his stare: "I'm genuinely surprised that you managed to have friends in Marley; or, for that matter, why Hange seems to like you so much."

"Maybe it's because I'm actually kind to people. You should consider trying it."

"I can't work out how people can stand to talk to you," His soft lips formed a subtle snarl, his smallest finger drawing circular motions against your thigh whilst he tightly held onto them: "It's not exactly surprising that you're always getting caught staring at me - are you desperate for a boyfriend, or something?"

"Desperate? Oh, please - I could say the same to you!" You practically cackled, "You're in your thirties, have one friend, and it's not like you're married, either. Besides, aren't you the one who offered to personally train me?"

"Who says that I'm not married?"

"Who says that I haven't got a boyfriend back home in Marley who's waiting for me?"

"Do you?"

You hesitated, "I did."

"Who?"

You cocked your brow, "Now who's curious?"

Scoffing, Levi shook his head whilst deflecting his gaze onto the window.

"Besides, I've just gotten out of a long-relationship. I don't want to get into a relationship right now." You continued to defend yourself as he intently listened, "So you don't have to worry about me having feelings for you - not that I ever would."

"Good." Levi Ackerman tilted his head upwards whilst his voice purred: "I don't want to get into a relationship, either."

You sat yourself up, wanting to take a few moments break from exercising. Frustration was crinkling in his fatigued eyes whilst they locked onto yours; his eyes that were the same shade as the night-skies stars. His cold expression faltered for just a moment whilst his irises gleamed at yours.

Levi cleared his throat, "Our relationship is strictly involving the Scouts. Nothing more."

"Let's keep it that way."

He hummed in response.

"Carry on," He flicked his long, slender finger, "You're not allowed to stop until I give you permission. Don't stop."

Groaning on anguish, you obeyed his command and continued to perform sit-ups.

"So," He broke his silence, "Who was he, anyway?"

Your eyelids slightly widened, taken aback by the fact that Levi cared enough to ask you the question of who your previous boyfriend was. You tilted your head in curiosity, attempting to decipher the question: why?

Noticing your obvious surprise, Levi clenched his jaw: "I can tell from your expression that you want to talk about it, so, I figured that I might as well ask. Not that I care."

Rolling your eyes towards his usual, cold demeanour, you sighed: "His name is Porco. Porco Galliard."

He hesitated, obviously familiar with the name that had slipped from your mouth: "The Jaw Titan?"

"You know of him?"

"Yelena and Onyankopon have told us about all of the titans that Marley is in control of. I recognise his name," He shook off his gaze, "Continue."

"We were in a relationship, on-and-off, for about two years." You continued to explain to him, "Then we finally decided to stop trying so hard to make it work, especially considering it was obviously doomed from the beginning."

He hummed once again: "When you told me that you had just gotten out of a relationship, I thought you were lying to save yourself the embarrassment."

"You thought wrong, I genuinely don't care about what you think of me." You teased, "I've always been into blondes."

Levi glared off towards his left; you innocently laughed.

He took a moment to himself, before his starry eyes once again met with yours: "Are you sure about that?" His hoarse voice made a shiver trickle alone your spine, tingles erupting in your body.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

Levi leaned slightly forward, his fingers spreading out against your thighs in a way that made your knees weaken: "Ever since we started training, and I've had my hands on your thighs," Levi paused for a moment, scoffing in the middle of his sentence, "You've looked.. flustered. I constantly catch you staring at me whilst you think I'm not looking."

You swallowed.

You half-closed your eyes, your heart beat suddenly felt louder than before: "You're wrong."

"Am I, Scout?"

"Yes." You interjected, unable to relax into his touch whilst his index finger continued to trace your thigh in circular-motions, "I'm just hot, that's all, it's warm in here. And, I haven't been staring at you - you're wrong."

"So, you're saying," Levi's voice grew lower, huskier, whilst he leaned even closer to you than before; the smell of his clothes intoxicated you, "You're not attracted to me?"

Your eyes met with his lips. The same pair of lips you had loathed to have grown so enamoured by; the soft, rosy-colour lips that you couldn't help but stare at, no matter how hard you tried to look away from.

"No." Your eyebrows twitched together, "I'm not attracted to you. To be completely honest," You became discomposed, swiftly losing the ability to form a straight-forward sentence whilst knowing you were under his gaze, "I couldn't be less attracted to you."

His nose was just a centimetre away from yours when he whispered against your lips: "So, if I kissed you right now, you wouldn't feel anything?"
