Your eyes became alert, immediately giving him your consent with a firm nod.Levi placed his large hand against your inner thigh, shifting your legs individually into the correct position. You could feel his long, slender fingers tightening his grip of your thighs whenever he moved one of your legs. Once he was satisfied, he arose back onto his feet and dusted off his jogging-bottoms.
He returned to his former position behind you, placing hand on your shoulder blade whilst demanding: "Arch your back for me whilst you hit the punching-bag,"
"Yes, Captain." You teased, glancing at him from over your shoulder.
Glaring deeply into your eyes, he whispered: "Don't say it like that."
You playfully chuckled, before swiftly colliding your first with the punching-bag with all of your strength.
"Not bad." He shrugged smugly, "Not good, either."
"Maybe I should try and hit a real-life opponent." You coyly suggested, "That might help."
"You're referring to me?"
"Who else would I be talking about?"
"It's cute that you think you'd ever get the chance - you had your turn to hit me when we first met, and that didn't work out well, did it?" He scoffed, outstretching his arms, "Take a look at where that got you."
"Watch it." You hesitated for a moment, a frown plastered on his mouth whilst you began to speak your mind once more: "A little advice for you: you're far more likeable when you keep your mouth shut."
"Is that so?" His voice deepened, "What else do you think about me? Go on - tell me, I dare you."
"The other soldiers may let you walk all over them, but I won't." You face contorted with frustration, growing increasingly angry due to the satisfied expression on his face: "You're just a short-tempered, ignorant, pathetic excuse of a man who likes to take his anger out on other people."
Levi's face immediately dropped, no longer finding satisfaction from your insults. He teeth began to grind together, emphasising the sharpness of his jawline. His thin eyebrows arched together as his temper began to grow.
"Excuse.. me?"
He paused in the middle of his sentence; you thought you had seen Levi apoplectic before, but the wrath in his eyes currently was unlike anything you had seen from him before. You swiftly realised why no one argued against Levi Ackerman; the wrath in his star-coloured eyes was unmatched with. Daunting; terrifying; passionate.
"What did you just say to me; do you want to repeat that?" His nose was just an inch away from yours, you could taste his minty-breaths against your tongue with each syllable that fell from his soft, supple lips, "People are scared of me for a reason, Y/N Yaeger."
Flustered, your voice came out as a whisper: "Is that so?"
"Of course." The older Captain's eyes stared deeply into yours as if analysing the different shades of your irises: "I'd watch that pretty, little mouth of yours if I were you; unless you want to get into trouble. You wouldn't want that, would you?"
