Beads of steaming water trickled down your temples and forehead, falling off of the ends of your lashes.

You ran your fingers through the roots of your hair, massaging your scalp deeply and slowly: your eyes closed with pleasure, a pearly smile urging against your teeth at the relaxing sensation. The shampoo foamed in your hands as you cleansed your hair, already feeling refreshed for the day ahead.

You turned the shower-knob off.

Goosebumps swarmed over your skin as the cold air consumed you; the steam on the mirrors of the shower-room made droplets trickle down the glass.

Swiftly wrapping a towel around your shivering body, you began to decide on what to wear to drink tea with your Captain. You meticulously plucked some clothes from your wardrobe, swiftly changing your attire.

You slipped on a pair of shoes, leaving your bedroom to meet with Levi Ackerman in his office.

Levi's head lifted to the sound of his office door being abruptly knocked against. He called out that you could enter, but, to be careful to not slip as he had just finished cleaning his office floor.

You got comfortable on the chair opposed to his desk, placing your hands in between your thighs whilst watching him prepare the tea he had made himself. His steel eyes were filled with concentration.

"You weren't sure what else to say, "Thank you for the tea."

"Why are you thanking me?" He rose a brow, "You haven't even tasted it, yet - after you've tried it, you can thank me."

"Still, the gesture was enough. I appreciate it, I know how much tea means to you." You commented sarcastically.

"My mother taught me how to make tea when I was young," Levi lifted the steaming kettle from his desk, carefully beginning to pour the liquid into your porcelain cup, "I suppose you could say I've gotten pretty good at making it over the years."

"I'll be the judge of that." You smiled coyly.

Levi bumped his brows together into a scowl: "I've never had any complaints before. If you don't like it, then your taste is the issue: not my tea." The Captain lifted his fingertips to latch around the metallic spoon, carefully tracing it in circular motions to create a small whirlpool in the steaming liquid, "Drink it."

You hesitantly raised the cup upwards to your patted lips, tilting the liquid into your mouth. His dark, enchanting eyes were glued onto yours - fixated onto your expression as he attempted to depict your thoughts. Your lips began to melt into a soft smile, exhaling a sigh.

He leaned forward over the desk, "Good?"

You hazily murmured, "It is good."

"I told you." Levi had a satisfactory expression on his face whilst he crossed one leg over the other: "I was watching you during the expedition today."

"Oh, were you?"

"Don't get too full of yourself," His gaze rolled skywards, "I only wanted to critique you. I've also noticed that you haven't trained alongside the other soldiers since entering Paradis a few weeks ago."

You sheepishly shrugged, "I'm under close watch the majority of the time, and I doubt the other soldiers would take kindly to me training alongside them."
