Juleka, Jagged and Luka are all in the living room. Juleka is lying on the couch while texting Rose, and Luka is letting his father listen to the new tune he came up with.
While they were busy doing their own thing, they hear their door bell ring. The father and son turn to Juleka, who was holding the phone in front of her face, but she could tell their eyes were on her.
"I'm not expecting anyone" she says in a flat tone of voice.
"Somebody answer the door!" Penny yells from the kitchen
Luka sets his guitar aside, "I'll answer it," he walks over to the front door and opens it.
He was surprised to see Gabriel standing there, and when he looked down, he noticed Nathalie's daughter.
"Yo son! Who's at the door?!" Jagged asks while making his way towards the door.
"Gabriel!" Jagged yells as soon as he sees Gabriel at the door.
"Who's there at the door?" Penny walks out of the kitchen, her eyes widening as she recognizes the Gabriel and Gabriella, standing in front of Luka and Jagged.
Gabriel turns his attention to Penny, "Penny is Nathalie here?" he asks right away.
Penny stared at him for a moment trying to study him, "uhm- she- no.." she says quietly looking down.
Gabriel sighs, "I know she's here... We just want to talk to her."
Penny looks at Gabriella, sadness visible in her eyes, Penny sighs then looks at Gabriel again and says, "she's upstairs.....her room" Gabriel nodded.
Gabriel and Gabriella steps inside as soon as the father and son moves aside.
Gabriel lowers himself to Gabriella's eye level, "Gabby, I'll go talk to your mother first, I'll call you later." Gabriel smiles at Gabriella, who simply nods.
He walks upstairs, and because he has no idea which room was Nathalie's, he has to check each room. Gabriel checked the first doors he saw when he went upstairs, and when he didn't see her in any of those doors, he went to the other side.
There were three more doors to check. He opens the first door, and when he did, he wasn't sure what it was until he scanned the room and realized what kind of room it was. He couldn't help but wonder why they had a room like this in their house. Curiosity drove him to want to enter the room, and he was about to do so when he heard his name get called.
"Gabriel?" Nathalie called, he looks at her.
"Nathalie... I've been looking for you.." he looked at her from head to toe.
Nathalie raised a brow, "What are you doing here? And how did you know I was here?"
He pulls the door closed and walks in front of her, "I wanted to talk to you" he adds." He smiles at her, " And I have my ways, Nathalie.
They stare at one another before one decides to speak, "Why did you leave earlier? Why was Gabriella crying?" he asks while walking closer to Nathalie.
She raise her brow again, "Nothing that concerns you." She says sedately.
Gabriel clasps his hands behind his back "Our daughter was crying, Nath, and I'm just wondering why. I'm also her parent...." he argued.
Nathalie was thinking about how he said "our daughter," she was staring at him while her thoughts filled her mind.
"Nathalie?" Gabriel places a hand on her shoulders, Nathalie snapped out of her thoughts.
