After the Agreste-Sancoeur family had finished getting ready for the New Year's Eve dinner party with all of their friends and family, everyone began to board the limousine to head to the restaurant.
Marinette and Adrien were walking behind Gabriel and Nathalie as they approached the vehicle. Gabriel looked over his shoulder at his son and daughter-in-law, signaling Marinette to begin their plan.
Marinette smiled at her husband and said quietly, "Show time," before letting go of his hand.
She walked over to her 'mother-in-law,' "Mom!" she called causing Gabriel and Nathalie to stop walking.
"Yes? Is something wrong, Marinette?" Nathalie questions with concern.
Marinette took a brief glance at her father-in-law before returning her attention to Nathalie "I apologize for having to bother you, but I desperately need your assistance with something. It's important, Mom." In a beseeching tone, she says. She squeezed her hands together.
Nathalie, her soon-to-be official 'mother-in-law,' smiled at her, taking her hands away from her fiancé's arm, "I'm happy to help you out with anything, Marinette," she tells her. "What is it?" she asks.
Marinette took Nathalie's hand in hers and gently squeezed it. By the squeezing of her hand, Nathalie knew Marinette wanted to discuss whatever she needed assistance with in private.
Nathalie turned to Gabriel, "Darling, if you could just give us a minute," she says as Marinette started to drag her back inside the mansion.
"Yes, of course! Take your time," Gabriel responds back. He glance at his son smiling.
Adrien then asks his wife in order to play along, "Marinette, is everything alright?"
"Y-yeah! Give us a moment!" Marinette replies as they walked past him.
Adrien turns to his father smiling back, "And the plan commence!" he says giggling while approaching his father.
The two continued to walk towards the vehicle and Gabriel pats his sons back, "Thank you again for helping out, son," Gabriel says while hanging his arms behind Adrien's neck.
"Of course! I am very excited about this," Adrien answers. He then giggled seeing his little sister watching them from inside of the limo while giving them a thumbs up, "And the little princess is too!" Adrien adds while waving at her.
-Meanwhile with Nathalie and Marinette-
Marinette was walking back and fort whilst she tried to crack her knuckles, trying her best to seem trouble. It was working all right....
"Marinette, what's wrong? I'm starting to be worried," Nathalie asks, approaching her and resting her hands on her shoulders.
Her 'daughter-in-law' sighed heavily. She glanced outside before turning to Nathalie again, "It's that... I feel-" Nathalie nodded. Marinette swallowed a lump, "I-I-I feel like I might be pregnant," she tells Nathalie.
Nathalie's jaw dropped after hearing her 'daughter-in-law's' revelation. She then smiled widely and gave her a hug, "Marinette this is wonderful news!!"
Marinette pressed her teeth together knowing she as lying for the sake of their plan. "Mom, I'm just not so sure yet...." she says, causing Nathalie to pull away from the hug and look at her. "That's why I need your help! I want to find out if what I feel is right!" Marinette continues.
Nathalie smiles at her, "Marinette... I am more than happy to help you out! I would love to find out if I finally have a grandchild!" Nathalie then pulled her phone out, "I'm sure your mother would be too!" she adds.
