-Morning-

Immediately, as Adrien entered the mansion, he looked around and spotted his mother standing in front of the nursery room on the second floor. He approached the stairs and climbed halfway up to get a better perspective. Adrien watched as Nathalie gently opened the door. When she saw a glimpse inside of the nursery, she quickly closed it again and began to walk away while wiping her cheeks.

"Adrien!" Nathalie shouted, surprised to see Adrien standing there, watching her.

Adrien approached his mom and questioned her, "Mom, are you alright?"

Nathalie stared at him before slowly nodding and responding, "Well, of course I am." She began to walk away but stopped when she heard what Adrien said to her.

"This isn't the first time I've seen you attempting to open the door to the nursery, Mom... I visit nearly every single day, and at one point throughout the day, I notice you standing there, unable to open the door all the way," he said to her.

Nathalie sighed and turned around to face him, "Adrien, I'm just gathering the strength to...to open the nursery room so that I can return it to its original state... The guest room," she said, her voice soft and mournful.

Adrien stepped closer, "Mom... You don't have to get rid of the nursery room... You and father can always try again," he paused, his forehead creasing, "Don't tell me you're giving up already... That's not the mom I know!" he added and gave his mother a hug.

"You and Gabriella are more than enough..." she answered, hugging him back. "I was just thinking, now that you're married to Marinette... I'm sure you two are planning to start a family soon, so I might as well give you the items you'll need when you eventually have a baby together..." Nathalie stated to him in a quiet but clear voice.

Her son withdrew from the hug, "You're always thinking of others..." he told her and smiled.

Nathalie gave him a smiled, "I'm forty next month!" she added.

"Oh whattttt?! I had nooo Ideaaaa!" Adrien pretended, "You look thirty to me, mom," he teased her.

Nathalie rolled her eyes, smiling, then she read the time on her watch, "Your bet your sister's awake. Let's go greet her!" she said and they started towards Gabriella's room.

As soon as they walked in, they found Gabriella sitting on the bed looking towards the door with a smile on her face.

"Happy Birthday, my love!!!" Nathalie exclaimed while she approached the bed to give her daughter a hug and plenty of kisses on her cheeks and forehead.

"Thank you, mama!" Gabriella giggled.

"Happy Birthday, Gabriella!!!" Adrien exclaimed and walked over to the bed to hug his sister as well.

Gabriella smiled at her brother, "Thank you, Adrien!"

"You're getting old, Gab," Adrien teased, and Gabriella responded, "Not as old as you!"

Adrien glanced at his mom and saw her looking down wiping her tears, he turned to his sister and whispered, "Mom's crying..."

Gabriella immediately turned to her mom, and hugged her, "Mama don't cry! You should be happy, mama!!" she told her mom.

Nathalie sniffed and stared at her daughter, saying, "I am overjoyed, Gabriella!" She giggled as tears poured down her face. "I have a nine-year-old daughter now! Then you'll hit the double digits... ten, eleven, twelve.... and in your twenties-" She didn't bother to continue her sentence, and instead she caressed her cheeks, saying, " You're growing up too quickly, Gabriella, that's all." She smiled while beginning to tear up again, her vision blurring.
