She stared outside, a wistful expression creeping onto her face. She saw the leaves dancing around on the pavement, like ballet dancers on stage. As the wind raged around, slashing at the windows and doors, trying to tear the house apart. Her expression became stone fixed again as she stared outside. She saw something forming in the shadows, mixing with the wind. A large, dark shape moving towards the window like the monster it was.
"Hello again~" the creature drawled, a smile creeping onto its face.
"Shut the fuck up," not even attempting to hide her hostility, poison dripping from her words. She threw a small trinket at him, one she didn't care about. The monster's smile just widened as a hole opened and closed in his body, letting the item pass through. Immortal asshole. She thought.
A heavy sigh left her lips. "What do you want?" she spat, "I don't really have time for your stupid antics."
"Just wanted to visit my friend. Can't I do that, Arrisa?" the monster a fake pout replacing the grin.
Arrisa rolled her eyes and replied, "No. You can't do that, Daniel."
"Ouch!" Daniel said, clutching at the spot where his heart would have been.
"Now why are you really here?"
"Well uhm," Daniel scratched the back of his head and averted his eyes, "I uhh, wanted to see if you could uhh, turn me... mortal?" he said, his voice fading with each sentence. Arrisa just stared at him for a minute. Then started laughing. Her laughter filled the empty space.
"Y-your saying you want me to *snort* turn y-you huma-an?" she asked, laughs still escaping her mouth every once in a while. Daniel sheepishly nodded. Arrisa took a minute to calm down and then nodded.
"Alright. I'll do this one favor. But I will NOT Be able to turn you back. Like, ever."
Arrisa saw another nod come from Daniel.
"Alright then."
