Elena groaned, shaking Richard once more. The man was already drenched in ice water and the piercing screeches of a monstrous bat they captured were still burned in her mind.
And yet Richard was still fast asleep.
Kicking him again, Elena threw her hands up in the air.
"Damn it, Richard, we're going to be late for the meeting with the ambassadors!" she exclaimed, completely exasperated.
Bane peaked into the tent with the two hearing Elena.
"Let me take care of this," he said confidently.
"Richard, there's some monsters outside the camp, we need you to help fight the-"
"I'M READY, LET'S GO!" Richard yelled, immediately sitting upright. Elena stared dumbfounded back and forth between Bane and Richard.
"Barbarians..." Bane muttered, walking out of the tent followed by Richard's indignant reply.
Elena just stood there.
"What?"
