~Skeppy's Pov~

"Skeppy, what are you doing?"

Bad must be addressing how I am just throwing open cabinets, just to leave most of them open.

It's not my fault I'm bored. Bad is doing exactly what I thought he would, baking muffins for us.

As I through another open, one covered in ash and... dust...? I stumble backwards, coughing and horrified.

There was a skull... one that looked similar to a humans in the otherwise empty cabinet, with the addition to a pair of horns.

"Hey Bad..?"

Bad lifted his head and looked at the old cabinet.

It was terrifying how he just shrugged in that moment.

"Oh well. I didn't know that was there." he calmly stated as he poured the muffin mix into a pan, and then... teleported it away..?

"Why would it even be there?!" I shout in confusion.

Bad simply leans against the large counter in the center of the kitchen with no utilities.

"I don't know. The war caused a lot of things I can't explain... Anyways!" he flicked his wrist again, revealing a fully baked tray of large muffins, "The muffins are ready."

"How did those cook so fast?"

"I just teleported them outside next to a lava pool."

"Ah, well, gimme one!"

I just decide that it's for the best to ignore the skull, as Bad hands me a muffin.

The muffin was large enough that I had to hold it with both hands.

I begin pulling small pieces of it off and stuffing them under my box, therefore making it so I could eat without removing my accessories.

The crown on my head shuffled as I moved, threatening to fall.

It felt like an eternity since I had eaten something, and, I'm not going to lie, Bad's baking was amazing based solely off of this.

As I finish the last of the huge muffin, I turn to look at Bad, and then turn back to one of the cabinets when he didn't notice..

Master plan to distract Bad is a go. I just hope this works, and that I don't massively screw up.

After this, I want to get some sleep.

I begin by pulling a pot out of the older, crimson cabinet, that seemed to be almost wooden in texture. Next, I manage to pull myself into the huge pot, with my head above the rim, and legs dangling out.

Now, for the final step.

"Baaaad!" I called, grasping the demon's attention. "Bad look!"

"Why would you do that..?" Bad asked in a disappointed tone.

"Bad help!"

The perfect part of this plan... was I forgot that I needed a way to get out...

The smirk that began to grow on Bad's face was unbearable.

"And why do you need help?"

He is really doing this. As if this whole thing wasn't humiliating enough.

"Because I'm stuck in a pot..."

"And why are you stuck in a pot?"

...

"Because I wanted your attention. Now, help me!"

As I shout the last sentence, I pull my head away. I can't believe him, the smug grin on his face... ugh, I hate it.

"Okay Skeppy... I'll help you."

I feel a small weight removed from my head, and then realize that the crown I was wearing a moment ago had vanished.

Just above my head was a ring of white light, about the size of the pot. Give or take a bit.

I force myself to, hesitantly, look back over to Bad.

He had one of his large hands raised... one of his large, glowing hands...

"Bad... what are you doing..?"

"Oh, I'm just going to help real quick."

"I-"

My sentence is cut off by the tearing sound of ice cold water being dumped over me, filling the pot, and splashing all over the smooth floor. Only to be followed by Bad's mischievous giggle.

"Wow. That was uncalled for." I say, shivering in the freezing liquid.

"Aw Skeppy!" Bad started, as the pot began to float, drifting over to him and putting me at his eye-height, "You look like a little fishy!"

"I do not!" I argue as I unstick myself, using the water to my advantage. Once I get into a semi-comfortable position by kneeling on both my knees, I continue my counter.

"Also, how do you know what a fish is, but not know what a duck is?"

"I- You know what, no! That isn't relevant!"

We seem to glare at each other for at least a good thirty seconds, neither one of us willing to move, or break the petty silence.

Until, another totally genius plan forms in my oh, so massive brain.

"Hold still."

I instruct Bad as I begin to stand up in the floating pot, trying my best not to fall.

"What are you-"

I reach over and grab onto Bad's pointed horns, then, pull myself out of the pot, spilling more water over the floor and leaving me dangling at least eight feet off the ground.

"Really?"

Bad let out another disappointed sigh, tilting his head slightly downwards to look me in the eyes.

"Skeppy, I am not a toy. I am a very scary, dangerous, demon.-"

"Sure." I giggle as I interrupt him, causing him to make some kind of angry-annoyed sound.

"I wasn't finished.."

"No, no, please continue." I mock him with my sarcastic tone.

"You are being so muffin-y right now. I am at my wits end, you little potato."

I almost had to laugh at that on its own, but I managed to hold it in as he continued. I don't know how he thinks talking like that is normal, but it's adorable.

"At this rate, the next thing you're going to ask is if you can play with my tail."

"Oh yeah! I forgot that existed, can I-"

"Nope. No. I'm about done with you for now. I think you should be heading to bed now."

He stumbled over his words as he set me down, shooing me out of the room.

"Goodnight you little muffinhead. I have to clean up this mess..."

I smile to myself, knowing that my plan had worked... maybe a little too well.

"Goodnight Bad!" I call back to him, making my way back across the palace to my room.
