They worked hard for their performance.

But they also hung out a lot. Minho seemed to do better every time. He still had nightmares whenever Jisung wasn't there, but at least he told him about them. Talked to him about them.

'Stop checking me out.'

Jisung grinned. He was sitting on the floor against the wall of a dance studio, watching Minho stretch. A great sight, if he would say so himself.

'No.'

He rolled his eyes. 'I want to show you something.'

'Hmm?'

Minho -unfortunately- stopped stretching. 'Yeah. But you have to stretch first.'

Jisung blew out a breath in exhaustion. 'I don't wanna.'

'I don't care. I don't want you getting injured.'

Jisung smiled sweetly. 'Cute.'

He grabbed the hand Minho was offering to pull him up. The elder then sat down, ready to do the exact same as Jisung had only moments ago.

'Seriously?'

He crossed his arms. 'Yep.'

Fine. If this was how it was gonna be, he would make a spectacle out of it.

Energetic music was playing in the background, but that didn't stop them from making intense eyecontact throughout the whole song. It seemed to last forever, yet was over within a heartbeat.

Once the song ended, he stopped stretching and put his hands in his pockets.

Minho jumped up and walked towards him slowly, though he didn't hesitate as he put his hand on Jisung's cheek and kissed him.

'Jesus fuck you're hot,' Minho muttered.

'Mhm.' He kissed him again. He wasn't sure if he meant hot by looks or by temperature, but Jisung decided to take it as a compliment.

Jisung was surprised to find out that Minho was taking him to the forest. It had always seemed like his private place, so he had never asked to join him.

It was a beautiful place. He understood why Minho liked to go there so often. The sun coming through the green leaves, the chirping of the birds. It looked amazing.

Minho noticed his awe and laughed. 'Yeah.'

Jisung stopped walking to admire it all. If the scene in itself wasn't picture perfect, the boy next to him certainly made it that way. He couldn't look away.

God, he was in love.

Minho grabbed his hand and pulled him along. 'C'mon, there's more.'

After a few minutes they strayed off the main road, following a small trail through the trees.

They entered an open space and Minho let go of his hand, stepping forward.

White and purple flowers covered the grass, and he noticed a small stream a few meters down.

It was gorgeous.

Jisung's hand felt empty.

Minho let himself drop in the grass, propping his arms under his head.

Jisung sat next to him, plucking the grass.

'What's up?'

He looked at him.

'What?'

Minho furrowed his brows. 'Something is bothering you.'

Jisung hesitated. He would have to ask some time, but he didn't want to ruin the moment.

'Is there something going on between you and Emma?'

Minho sat up. 'How do you know about Emma?'

'So there is?' Jisung asked sadly. He stared at the ground, not wanting to look him in the eyes.

'There is not- Well- Eh.. No. Not really, no. Our .. "relationship" was purely physical. She's cool, but.. I don't like her that way.'

'I know we're not official, so it's like, not my business I guess, but .. are you gonna continue with it?' He suddenly felt really insecure.

Minho blinked. 'No.'

Jisung's eyebrows shot up. 'No?'

The older laughed softly. 'Of course not.'

He tried to process this.

'I'm all yours,' Minho smiled.

Their eyes met.

'And I'm yours,' Jisung whispered.

Minho held his arms open. He snuggled into him and they both lay down in the damp grass.

They could've lied there forever, with each other. A peace which they had never felt before rested upon them.

The sun shone in their eyes and they had a hundred things to worry about, but none of that seemed to matter now. They only cared for each other.

Jisung didn't sleep much that evening.

He had a lot of homework to finish, all of which he could have done before, but well.. you know how it goes. And things weren't really going well now, as the only thing he seemed to be able to think about was Minho, and the pattern of his breathing and the beat of his heart as they laid in the grass.

Sure. That he could process, unlike the vague geographical concepts in front of him.

The next day he found Minho in the hallways. He looked even more tired than Jisung felt. This wasn't unusual, but he looked extra tired today. 'Good morning, sunshine,' he hummed.

Minho looked up. 'Morning,' he mumbled.

'You good?'

'Yeah, just didn't sleep well,' he attempted a smile.

Jisung frowned. 'Maybe we shouldn't train today,' he noted.

'No, no, that's okay. I'm okay. We can train,' Minho reassured.

He looked him over once more. The boy with the sweater paws couldn't look more adorable if not for the fact that he looked awfully worn out. 'No.. I didn't sleep well either.. I could use some rest myself.'

Technically, he could indeed use some rest. But he was also afraid Minho would collapse before they even got to the dance studio.

'We could take a nap together though?'

The elder brightened up, if only just a little, and nodded.

That afternoon, after being scolded by his geography teacher for not doing his homework, Jisung joined Minho in the courtyard. Together, they went back to Jisung's place.

They were both quick to fall down on his bed. They fell asleep quickly, Jisung in Minho's arms, but not before Minho had placed a kiss on his forehead.
