minho woke up with a slight headache.

but he also woke up in his own bed, with a sleeping Jisung next to him. he thought of the night before, remembering how he lost hyunjin and had texted his boyfriend instead.

he scanned his surroundings, and noticed a glass of water and some painkillers on his nightstand. he glanced at Jisung, who was softly snoring, his face caught in a pout.

a grateful smile fell over minho's face, even if the one who should see it was still fast asleep.

he took the medicine on an empty stomach and got up. he almost tripped over dori and gave the cat a kiss on the head.

he drank the water and walked to the bathroom. what was he doing here again?

he stared at his reflection for a few seconds, struggling to keep his eyes open, and came to the conclusion that he didn't have to get up. it was saturday, at 8 a.m.

freedom!

he shuffled back to his room, making sure not to trip over dori again, and slowly slid back underneath the blankets. Jisung woke up from the movement, drowsy eyes searching his face.

'you okay?' he mumbled.

'mhm. go back to sleep,' his voice was raspy. he let out a sleepy sigh, and pulled Jisung's body close to his own.

minho woke up hours later when something tickled his chest. Jisung just seemed to have woken up as well, and his hair brushed against him as he twisted around.

'morning sunshine.'

A sound left Jisung's mouth, but it was incomprehensible to minho.

'do you want waffles?'

the younger raised his head slightly. 'no.. i want to stay right here.' he snuggled even closer to him.

minho hugged him back. he felt loved. he tried his hardest not to cry as his heart ached in happiness.

Jisung noticed his uneven breaths and looked up. his fingers trailed over minho's face. 'what's wrong?' he whispered.

he shook his head. 'nothing, i'm just very happy you're here.'

Jisung's eyes sparkled as he smiled, admiring him. there was no place he would rather be than in his arms. he leaned in and placed his lips on minho's. it was soft and gentle, and they knew they would cherish this kiss, this moment, forever.

minho pulled away with a smile on his face. 'thank you.'

he pulled the boy in his arms close once more before getting out of bed. he stumbled across the room again, stretching as he did so.

Jisung whined. 'noooooo, babe come back here.'

minho turned around and grinned. he was still shirtless, but he didn't really mind. 'c'mon love, i'm making waffles.'

he didn't move, though. minho laughed and went to the kitchen to start without him.

as he was stirring the batter, a pair of arms wrapped around his torso, a head resting on his bare back.

'hi.'

'hi,' Jisung replied tiredly. minho could imagine him, eyes closed as he leaned against him.

he wiggled in his grip once the batter was done. 'could i move, kind sir?'

'if you must,' Jisung sniffed as he walked away from him. 'also, your dad asked me to tell you he's gone for a few days. some trip, dunno.'
