It was a chill Sunday afternoon.
Minho was training for his audition, and he preferred to do most of it alone, because Jisung could be quite distracting. Fair enough. He would still pick him up after though.
But for now, he was sitting on his small balcony, enjoying the sun and scribbling random lines down whenever one popped up, twisting and turning them until he was satisfied.
His peaceful afternoon was disturbed, however, by a call from Felix.
'What's up?'
'Hey Ji. I kinda need you to come to my house, as soon as possible. If you have time, of course.' He laughed awkwardly.
'Erm, yeah okay. You alright?'
He giggled. 'Yes... I- I just got myself stuck.'
Jisung snorted. 'Alright, stay where you are.'
'... You're the worst.'
He laughed. 'I could also leave you there?'
'Nooo,' Felix whined.
Jisung put on his shoes. 'I'll see you in a sec.'
Though his friend didn't seem to be in any immediate distress, he still hurried to get there.
He rang the doorbell, only to realise that Felix was stuck and no one would open. Jisung called out his name instead.
'Here!'
He walked to the back of the house, where he was met with a wonderful sight.
The blonde was stuck in the window, one leg in and one out, with the window being only half open and some limbs sticking out dramatically.
'H-How did you-' He couldn't contain his laughter.
'I accidentally locked myself out ... Thought I could get the keys by climbing through the window ... I still think I can! I just twisted at the wrong time,' Felix pouted.
Jisung nodded, completely unconvinced. 'So... Do I push you in or pull you out?'
Felix closed his eyes, lips pressed into a smile. 'In, please.'
Most clumsily, Jisung started pushing Felix into the house.
It only caused severe ear damage from Felix' screaming, but alright.
As soon as he tumbled into the house, he got his keys and unlocked the door for Jisung.
'Oh hello, how nice of you to visit me! Would you like some tea?'
'Hi! Yes, I'd love that!' He played along.
His oh-so-kind friend stepped aside and let him into the house.
Felix actually started to make him tea, and just as he put two cups down on the table there was knocking on the door.
'Felix, love?' he heard a woman's voice say.
Felix frowned and walked towards the door.
'Hey mom?'
'Are you okay? I got a notification that there was a break-in. Did you see anyone?' She asked in English, meanwhile checking if her son was fully intact.
Jisung and Felix looked at each other before looking back at Mrs. Lee.
'Ah yes...' Felix laughed and scratched his neck.
She caught up immediately. 'It was you, wasn't it?' She asked, unimpressed.
'I locked myself out,' Felix grinned.
She sighed. 'Sometimes I wonder where it went wrong,' she mumbled as she turned around to leave again. She seemed to have come straight from work to check up on him.
'Excuse me?' he barked out a laugh.
'It was nice seeing you, Jisung!' She yelled, before the door slammed shut. He didn't even get to say it back, standing there with his mouth half open.
They both both started laughing. 'Oops.'
Oh well. Things like this happened. No harm done, except maybe on poor mrs. Lee's heart.
Moving on,
'How are things between you and Changbin?'
'What things?' Felix asked innocently.
Jisung rolled his eyes. 'Oh I don't know, remember you testing out if Changbin was jealous by flirting with me?'
'Ah yes, that... Nothing more happened.'
He crossed his arms. 'I don't believe you.'
'Then don't,' Felix shrugged. Jisung recognised a hint of sadness behind his eyes.
He blinked. Unsure of what to do, he grabbed Felix' hand and squeezed it. He appreciated the attempt of comfort and squeezed back.
His sudden mood changed again, and he smiled brightly. 'It's not that deep. Enough about me, how are you and Minho?'
Such a smooth way of changing topic. Jisung decided he would leave it be for now and started talking about their so far great time together.
Around an hour later he realised he was supposed to pick Minho up. It'd get him around 15 minutes to get there, and it was 5 minutes before they would meet up. Welp.
He quickly hugged Felix and made his way to the city, skipping some steps as if it would really make a difference.
He found Minho leaning against a wall at the dance studio, wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. Jisung blinked. Fuck he's hot.
His boyfriend was happily chatting with Emma, and the scene of their hands on each other as they made out appeared in Jisung's mind. He shook it off before he had the chance to get paranoid.
'Hey, sorry I'm late. Felix was stuck in his window,' he kissed Minho on the cheek.
He looked slightly confused, then nodded in understanding. It was Felix, after all.
They walked back to Minho's place hand in hand.
'Have you told your father about us?'
He grimaced. 'No.'
'Why not?' Jisung asked. He wasn't mad or anything, but he wondered if there was any specific reason he should be cautious about it.
Minho frowned. 'Nothing special. He's just gone a lot and I haven't found a time yet.'
'Are you scared for his reaction?' He asked.
The older considered it. 'Not really. He has always accepted me. But you never know, I guess.'
'Would you like me to be there?'
He shook his head. 'No,' Minho said. 'I think I should do it alone.'
'Okay. Take your time,' Jisung smiled, squeezing his hand.
A squeeze back. 'Thank you.'
