Sæbø, Norway

Yara had made it halfway back to the hotel when she had spotted something that looked like an explosion on a bridge that was nearby. She quickly decided to check it out and see if anybody needed help. Once she got closer, she could make out a car that was swaying on the edge of the bridge with the front hanging off and leaning down towards water that was several meters underneath it. Then she spotted a tall person walking towards the said car. Yara saw movements inside the crashed car and noticed a second figure inside of it. For a moment, she thought that the first person was going to help the person in the car until she heard gunshots and she saw the first person hold up a shield. The first person who she had identified as the attacker by now, was wearing protective armor. They threw their shield at the person in the car, but it got stuck in the crashed car's back window. Yara was close enough now to get a better look at the second person.

She saw a flash of long hair that gleamed red in the light. She suddenly realized that she had seen the same car which was crashed and hanging off the bridge, before.

Recognition struck Yara as she watched the redheaded Avenger fight against her attacker. She stopped the car in a spot on the road where it was hidden from view from the bridge. Then she got out and approached the fight as one does when an ex-assassin is fighting a person in armor who looks to be at least as good as the assassin. Yara was as quiet as possible, trying to stay undetected. She reached the attacker's vehicle which was parked in the middle of the bridge and resembled a tank on wheels. She hid behind it silently cussing herself out for not staying in the rental car. It took her a moment to notice the sudden lack of fighting noise. She stuck her head around the corner of the vehicle and saw the attacker looking into an open briefcase in their hands. They proceeded to throw it down while walking over to the edge of the bridge where the car was and looking down at the dark water. The other fighter was nowhere to be found.

Yara didn't waste any time waiting to see what the attacker would do next and silently sprinted back to the black Mercedes. She got in and pulled out her phone opening a map of this area while debating whether she really wanted to get involved in this or not. She found a road that led down to the fjord on the side of the bridge that she had seen the attacker look down from and started the car. Once Yara reached the fjord, she got out and jogged along the edge of the water, looking for signs of a person that had just swum here.

It took her a while and she was beginning to doubt that she would find anyone when she finally spotted the silhouette of a small figure lying on a rock with something in her hands that was glowing red.

Yara approached the person quietly and recognized the woman she had met much earlier that day. She stopped for a moment, debating one last time whether this was a good idea. Once she got involved, she wouldn't get out that easily again. Yara knew that perfectly well.

"Hello again."

The ex-assassin flinched and tried to get up while stuffing the glowing red object into her jacket, but fell right back onto the rock. She turned her head towards the source of the voice and squinted her eyes slightly trying to make out the person in the dark.

"We met earlier today. At the store."

Yara came closer so the Avenger was able to see her properly. Relief washed over the redhead's face before it was replaced with mistrust.

"I remember you. What are you doing here?"

"I know that this might look suspicious, but I was just coming through here when there was an explosion. I wanted to be a responsible human being and see if I could help."

The former assassin raised her eyebrows. She was good at reading people and noticing if they were lying. The woman in front of her seemed to be telling the truth. At the same time, she found it hard to imagine that the same and only person who had recognized her, would be the one to meet her again, especially after what she had just found. She didn't actually know what exactly it was that she had found, but she knew that it was important and she knew that it had something to do with someone whom she hadn't seen or heard of in a long time.
