Natasha jumped into action immediately climbing off of Yara and helping the woman onto her feet. Then she lunged to the door and pressed herself against the wall next to it. Yara followed her and tried to catch a glimpse of the attacker. She stuck her head out a little and almost got shot in the head, causing her to snap her head back to safety immediately.

Natasha pulled out a little device and flicked it into the kitchen where the attacker was. It made a buzzing sound, followed by the sound of a body hitting the floor. The Avenger used the TV's reflection to check out the kitchen, but Yara didn't wait for her and just ran in there, quickly spotting a second attacker. Before he had time to react, she disarmed him and knocked him out with a hard punch to his head. Natasha had followed her and took cover next to a doorway that led to the short hallway. Yara hid on the other side of the doorway and stuck her head around the corner to make sure it was empty before she sprinted to her room. She emerged back out into the hallway a moment later with a handgun in her hand.

Natasha was waiting for her in the kitchen. She had checked out the area in front of the house in the meantime. The two women had a quick exchange while the Avenger tied the unconscious attackers up. Then, Yara went into the basement to check it for more intruders, while Natasha checked her room and the bathroom.

They met again in the kitchen, coming to the conclusion that there was nobody else in the house.

"Hey!" Natasha kicked one of the unconscious attackers in the shin. "Wake up."

She repeated the action more aggressively, but the guy still didn't move. It was only when Yara slapped him on his cheeks that he groaned and blinked, letting his eyes adjust to the light. They widened all of a sudden when he spotted the two women standing in front of him. He tried to shuffle away from them, but all he accomplished was to tilt the chair and fall onto his back. Yara rolled her eyes and felt the blonde next to her do the same while she went to put the chair back on its legs.

"Are you done?", Natasha wanted to know from the attacker who nodded quickly looking a little scared.

"He must be new", Yara mumbled to herself under her breath. "Okay. Now, mind telling us why you're here?", she inquired loudly in a demanding voice.

The young man's lips trembled slightly and sweat began building on his forehead. Yara and Natasha waited for him to speak. "For you", he finally revealed looking at the brunette.

Yara sighed internally. She really wasn't surprised. This was on her. She had become too comfortable within the past year and had let up her guard.

If she was completely honest with herself, she had been expecting to be found much sooner and was surprised that it had taken this long. She had been able to slip under the radar for years and live a more or less normal life, but her luck had to run out sooner or later.

Natasha continued the interrogation, wanting to know who had sent them.

Yara knew the answer to that question but wanted to hear the man say it desperately hoping that she was wrong.

He was silent for a while again until another male voice answered with a thick German accent. Yara could hear the second man smirk. "You know."

Yara flinched slightly and took a deep breath. She turned around and faced the second man.

"What does he mean?", Natasha whispered into Yara's ear.

"I'll explain it later", the brunette replied just as quietly, trying to avoid a scene in front of the attackers.

"Hast dich gut versteckt. Das muss ich dir ja lassen", the older man commented on Yara's skills to hide from them for as long as she had. "Aber Griebel erwartet dich", he added, telling the brunette that someone named Griebel was waiting for her.
