The elevator doors opened exposing Evan, the French president, the Russian president, and the German Minister.

"Und I zaid, "Looks like vu are sdaying in zee gingerpread houze for ein long time!" They erupted into laughter.

"You never disappoint in your stories, Hans." Evan chuckled.

"I must agrrree, Evan. Hans never has bad storrry." Iov said. Evan removed his cap and tucked it under his arm.

"Shall we?" Evan took the seat with the name plate that said United Kingdom. A man in a judge's gown stepped up to the highest seat. He banged a gavel.

"Order! Order!" The countries settled down, "You've all been called here today regarding the recent laws that have been passed in 97 countries regarding muggleborns and their families. The recent laws were originally passed by Prime Minister Evan Gaunt of New England. Minister." Evan stood up and adjusted his sash.

"Thank you, Judge. After the Wizarding Wars, we are still recovering. The Statue of Secrecy has been immensely tightened. But, through the years, I've realized that while we've had excellent medical resources, just resources in general. The muggle families of our very own wizards and witches don't have any access to our advancements. I spent years developing a spell to keep the topic a secret, but muggles can still use our resources. Morori Horribinius." Evan explained. They all murmered in agreement. Evan smirked.

Juniper walked around observing the belongings with Linden in her arms. She looked at Linden. Linden played with the fringes of Juniper's shirt. Her face was still tear-stained and she was still sad.

"You wanna get daddy a new watch?" Juniper asked. Linden looked at the watches.

"Aah!" She squealed. They went over.  Johnny and Moira walked in.

"Moira, look at these cufflinks." Johnny picked up the Sterling cufflinks on the table.

"Oh, John," Moira scoffed, "We're better off stealing cutlery from the cafe!"

"No, these look like Sterling! I'm gonna bid on these." He replied.

"They are, Mr. Rose." Juniper held her hand out, "Juniper Hardwing. I head your son's security and I went to school with him too." Johnny shook her hand.

"I'm Johnny and this is my wife, Moira," Moira sent her a polite smile, "How do you know?"  Juniper picked them up.

"He wore the same ones to the Yule Ball." She pulled out a picture and handed it to them. Evan's hair was slicked back. His black robes had just reached his knees. A black tie was tucked into a navy blue vest. Evan wasn't smiling and the person next to him wasn't either. Juniper was in a flowing blue dress and her makeup wasn't very prominent on her face.

"Can we have this? We don't have many pictures of him." Moira asked. Juniper smiled and gladly.

"Of course," She looked at Linden and bit the inside of her cheek, "I heard about what happened and I know he's giving you the cold shoulder, but would you like to hold her?" Johnny's face lit up.

"Of course!" Juniper gave Linden to Johnny. She looked up at the old man with her green eyes.

"Hello, little one." Moira tickled Linden's neck. Linden let out a giggle. They smiled.

"Where did he come across her?" Johnny asked as he made funny faces at her.

"Found her in an alley. He didn't want her to have a poor life. She's 10 months old. Evan made the godfather his bestfriend, Draco Malfoy, and the godmother, Luna Lovegood. She's a bit wacky but we love her regardless." Linden gave a cheesy smile. She looked past her grandfather and at a golden watch. The baby pointed at it.

"Papa! Papa! Papa!" Linden yelled, "Montre parfaite!" They looked at the baby surprised.

"She speaks French?" Johnny asked surprised. Juniper had a large smile.

"Well, it was Evan's first language. They're very proud of their French heritage. Even though they've been living in Britain for hundreds of years. Family thing, I presume," She took Linden back, "Let's go tell Daddy." They walked off.

"Hey, there, Roses!" Jocelyn walked over with her signature smile.

"Oh, hi."

"Hello."

"Look at you two bargain hunters. You finding anything, yet?" Jocelyn inquired.

"Mm, nothing you couldn't see fall out of a common Christmas cracker!" Moira replied. she didn't want to be there.

"I think half of the fun is panning for nuggets at these things." Johnny said. Jocelyn let out a giggle.

"Evan says the same thing. He buys everything second hand. You two are so much alike!" Her eyes looked past the couple and set on a large mattress propped in the corner still in its wrapping, "Ooh, look at that mattress!"

"Well, there you go," Johnny said, "What a find."

"Poor dear, enchanted by a death bed." Moira muttered to her husband.

"This is a brand new mattress, it's still in the plastic." Moira turned around surprised.

"What?"

"Yeah! And it's memory foam! This must've cost a fortune!" Johnny was observing Linden with Juniper.

'She seems nice. Perfect for Evan,' His eyes widened slightly, 'Johnny, you fool! Evan just broke off his engagement! On the other hand, he doesn't seem sad about it...No! What kind of father are you? '

Evan sat in his seat bored out of his mind. He hated listening to the Judge drone on and on.

"-And I finally declare this meeting adjourned." The gavel banged on the podium.

"Fucking finally!" Someone shouted.

"Quahog!" Evan yelled.

"What?"

"Shut the hell up!"
