Bang!
I was startled awake at the sudden noise. The door creaked open and I heard footsteps. I got scared and used the secret passageway from my room to mums. She lay there sleeping peacefully. I crawled to her and shook her awake."Mummy?" I asked softly. She groaned and turned to me, her brilliant green eyes reflected the moonlight. She pushed a strand of her silver hair out of the way.
"What's wrong bub?" She asked me. I explained the situation to her while shaking. She sighed and grabbed her wand from the bedside.
"Do you want me to go check with you?" She asked. I nodded and hid behind her legs. We crept down the steps when we heard a crash. I started to shake. We got into the kitchen and saw Uncle Tom there.
"Tom?" Mum said softly. He started to breathe heavily. Mum pushed me onto the wall. She walked slowly to Uncle Tom. He turned around and pointed his wand at mum.
"Avada Kedavra!" The green light hit mum and she fell lifeless to the floor.
Third Person
Evan was shaking, crying, and mumbling in his 'bed'. Johnny woke up wet from the hole in the ceiling and woke his wife, Moira. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his youngest child writhing in what could only be described as pain with tear stains. He ran and woke him up.
Evan's POV
I jolted up in a cold sweat and looked frantically around the room. I saw Father kneeling next to me rubbing my back. I put my head in between my knees to calm myself down and get my breathing steady. I looked at Father again."You look wet," I told him. He grunted.
"The plumbing is shot to hell in this place." He told me angrily. I nodded and stood up. I examined the ceiling as Father told Alexis and David to get up. I huffed and decided to get ready for the day. I searched through my trunk and got a pair of beige slacks and a blue button-up. I left to go have breakfast.

I sat in a booth alone eating a sandwich. My parents sat in a separate booth with the town realtor. Wanting to get away from them, I ate quickly and ran to pay. I walked out and ran to an empty field and put an Invisibility Charm around me. I gripped my wand and thought about my happiest memory with mum.
"Expecto Patronum!" A lion sprung out of my wand and lept around majestically. I smiled softly as it disappeared. I shot hexes and curses for a few hours at a tree. I was panting heavily when I decided enough was enough. I slipped my wand in the wrist holster and trudged home. I pushed the door open and went to my trunk. I clicked the knobs on the trunk in a rhythmic manner. I grabbed my herbology textbook and lay flat on the trunk. The door opened and the four entered. Apparently, Father didn't get the contract signed and now we have to go to dinner with them. Alexis was going to a party.
"One of you kids has to come! David, Ev, you've got nothing going on tonight." I zoned out of the conversation and continued reading.
"Oh, gillyweed," I mumbled. Unfortunately, I finished the book when the family dispersed. I looked up at Father. He was cleaning his jacket. I puffed out my cheeks.
"I suppose I should get dressed?" I drawled out. Father nodded absentmindedly. I pulled out the suit that I wore to Gringgots and put on my Lordship rings.

I took a breath at the Schitts door. My expressionless mask took over my face."Thanks for having us, Jocelyn. Thank you." Father said politely. Jocelyn carried the bottle of Vodka.
"Make yourselves at home. Roland is just on the toilet." She said in a dreamy voice. She then turned to me. "You know the way to Alex's room, Evan." I gave a curt nod and walked down the hall to my best friend's room. I got to the door with a hazard sign on it. I knocked on the door and a girl with long blonde hair with brown eyes and pale skin opened the door.
