It was eight o'clock when I woke up to the sounds of moaning on the bed. I did not dare turn around and felt like I wanted to throw up and felt angry at the same time. The door creaked open and David walked in.

"Could you spare some a...Oh my god, oh my god!" David ran back into the next room. There were shrieks of surprise. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. The door opened again and I knew that it was my time to get up. I scrambled to the bathroom. I placed my hand on my chest and sat on the lid of the toilet.

"Bloody hell.." I whispered. There was a knock at the door.

"Evan?"It was David. I opened the door a crack.

"Is it safe?" I whispered. I saw him nod. The door was slowly pushed open. I stepped out and scanned my surroundings. Father and Mother came back into the room.

"I--I'm just gonna get changed." I grabbed clothes from my trunk and ran back into the bathroom. I put on a white button-up and a jacket. I slipped into black jeans that had a metal chain hanging from a pocket. I ran quickly out the door and to the lot. I heard a pop from the forest and ran to it.

"'Mione! Moon!" I shouted. There was a crack from behind me. I whipped around.

"Petrificus Totalus." A purple light shot out of the end of my wand. A woman with red hair fell to the floor. I grunted and cast the counter curse. She stood and picked up her wand. She wore a self-knit sweater over a dress and a traveling cloak.

"I am so sorry, Mrs. Weasley. It's a reflex." I told her. She smiled and hugged me. The plump woman's head came to my chest.

"Nonsense! I understand, with him as your uncle you can never be too careful." She wagged a pudgy finger at me. I gave a genuine smile to the woman which isn't something I do these days. Luna walked out of the forest with the Weasley family, Potter, and 'Mione in tow. Fred and George recognized me.

"Well--" Fred started.

"If it isn't," George said.

"Our favorite--"Fred continued.

"Slytherin!" They finished. I hugged the two of them. The Golden Trio and Luna came up to me. I hugged Luna and stood in front of the three. We stared at each other before I stuck out my hand.

"You take my uncle down." I told them, "He's mad." Weasley chuckled and shook my hand roughly. He gave me a stupid grin.

"Now that's something we can agree on!" He stated joyously. I gave a small smile and moved to shake Potter's hand. Then I moved to hug Hermione. Hermione tapped me on the shoulder.

"Luna told us all about your snake and I decided to get you something more practical." Hermione pulled a gold cage with a shiny silver owl. My eyes watered a bit as I gently took the owl. I looked at her and pulled her into a deep kiss.

"Thank you. You really didn't have to." I told her. She looked up and smiled at me. I led the group to the motel immersing myself in a conversation with the only person who may rival my intelligence.

"Can I call you guys by your first names or?" I asked and folded my arms. The three looked at each other and nodded. I led the nine of them to the motel lobby. Stevie sat at her desk typing away.

"Hey--Woah, that's a lot of people." She said in surprise while looking out the open window. I smiled timidly and rubbed the back of my neck. I explained that a few rooms were needed. She told me to go to Roland. I sighed and walked out to the group. I tapped Mrs. Weasley on her shoulder.

"As it turns out, we need to see the mayor because of the two-room comp policy here," I told her as I pinched the bridge of my nose. She nodded tiredly as she just stopped Fred and George from doing something stupid. I beckoned them and they followed. We dejectedly walked to the mayor's house. Once we got there I turned to the group.

"Stay here," I told them and took Mrs. Weasley to the porch. My hand collided three times on the door. Roland answered.

"Hey! Evan, c'mon in!" Roland stepped aside to let us in. Father stood in the living room. My face hardened at the sight of him. Roland put the beer he was holding down and clasped his hands. I tore my eyes from his and looked at Roland.

"What seems to be the problem, Ev?" Roland looked at me expectantly. Before I could respond, Mrs. Weasley interjected.

"I need more rooms. Two isn't enough." She responded sweetly. Roland cocked his head at me.

"A few friends of mine are coming in from London to stay here for the summer. There are eight people outside and the two-room comp. isn't helping." I elaborated. Their eyes went wide and Roland walked to the window and took a peek outside. He looked at me then at the window. I smirked. He wrote on a piece of notepaper and handed it to me.

"Thank you," I called over my shoulder. The two of us walked backed to the group. I gave the paper to Mr. Weasely and jogged to Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Luna.  I turned to Luna.

"'Mione, sweetheart," I called her. Hermione looked up at me, "You'll never guess what happened this morning." She gave me a confused look as did the group.

"What is it, Evan?" She asked in her familiar smooth voice. I told the story of how I woke up this morning. Harry, Ron, and I were laughing hard at the end. Hermione and Luna were horrified. Hermione darted forward and hugged me. I blushed as she buried her head into my chest.

"No one should wake up like that." Luna and Hermione said simultaneously. I shrugged still red. Harry and Ron gave me a knowing look as 'Mione and I pulled away. I glared at the two. Fred and George snuck up behind me.

"Evy's got a girlfriend! Evy's got a girlfriend!" The two chanted around Hermione and me. We blushed and looked at the ground embarrassed. Mrs. Weasley smacked the back of Fred and George's heads.

"Oh don't tease Evan, boys. I'm sure he feels embarrassed enough." She scolded the two lightly. We all broke out laughing and stopped for something to eat.

I sat outside check-in on Luna's trunk. Roland's red station wagon pulled up to the motel. Father and Mother exited the room with luggage. Luna and the trio exited the check-in and walked to me. They looked at me and then at Father.

"I'm guessing that's your dad?" Harry guessed. I snorted and gave a humorless laugh.

"He doesn't deserve the title of 'dad'," I said angrily. They were taken aback by my reaction. Hermione sat next to me. Her arm snaked around my shoulders.

"I take it your relationship isn't good," Hermione stated. I nodded and continued to watch them. Mother walked back out of the room with the last suitcase.

"How many clothes do these bloody people need, Evan?" Ron asked incredulously. Hermione smacked him.

"Ronald!" She said. I smiled into the sky.

"I wish you got a chance to meet my friends, mum." I thought as I touched my necklace which held her ashes.
