CHAPTER 9: TOM'S FURY

Tom couldn't believe that the guy he hated, his partner, and Sydney the woman he knew he was in love with, he stared at them, as they had their reunion.  Sydney was crying.  Dennis was kissing her forehead and cheeks. He said "Baby I'm so sorry, this is all my fault."  Sydney said "No it's not"  He said "Sydney I should have manned up. I left and found another job, didn't text back, and because of that you got a dirt bag cop for a partner, who ratted you out, you were almost murdered, raped Oh my God baby."  She cried on his shoulder.

She said "Dennis I'm ok. Thanks to oh no."  She realized that Tom hated Dennis. She said "thanks to Tommy"  She turned and looked at Tom. She saw him fighting back tears. She saw Judy's face, and the tears. She felt horrible.

She left Dennis and went back to Tom. She said "Tommy I "  Tom moved away from her and glared at Booker.  He said "Captain what's the plan."  Fuller  explained it. Explained how Booker would go in as one of the gang members from the street.  Tom said "We don't need him."  Booker said "Hanson I'm on this case whether you like it or not. There's no way in hell I'm sitting this one out now."  Tom said "Screw you,"  he took him by the collar, and shoved him against the wall, knocked a frame off.

Sydney was shocked, and didn't know what to do.  Neither did Judy.  Fuller said "Hanson."  Booker said "Let go of me."  Tom did.  Tom said "hey Syd I hope you know your lover didn't waste any time taking Judy to bed."  Booker said "Hanson what the hell."  Judy said "thanks a lot Tommy."  She left went into the bathroom.

Doug said "ok Hanson come with me. You need to get some air."  Tom said "no I need this jerk out of my apartment now." Sydney said "Tommy please I'm I "  Doug said "Excuse us Sydney"  He got Tom into the kitchen.  Doug said "Hanson what the hell man, You got to calm down."

Tom said "Doug let go of me."  Tom said "ok but you need calm down. You're just going to make things worse. I get it ok. You have fallen for Sydney and she's Booker's ex, the guy you already hate. But come on, she's his ex, you do know that Judy said that Booker's ex broke his heart right, So going off on him like this, insulting Judy, come on that's not going to help you win her heart, which is what you still want right?  I mean or are you going to be stubborn jerk and throw away the chance with the love of your life, just cause you can't get over your ego and your pride that your dream girl dated Booker before she ever even met you"

Tom just glared at him.  Doug said "Hanson it's your decision, if you don't want Sydney now that's up to you, but you'd be a fool. She's beautiful, and you guys have great chemistry, I mean she lights up your face by just looking at you. I wouldn't let her get away"

Judy came out.  Dennis said "Judy I'm sorry."  Judy said "It's fine. Hanson's just upset"  Sydney said "Judy I'm sorry, you must hate me now."  She said "no I don't.  Look I was just shocked ok." Sydney said "I need to go talk to Tom. See if I can fix things"  Booker said "Sydney Hanson is a hot head, he's got a temper, I'd let him cool off."

Sydney said "I can't. I'm so sorry Dennis, but I really um Tom um "  Dennis touched her shoulder.  He said "I know it's ok, you really care for him. It's obvious to see, and I know he really loves you."  Sydney said "he does."  Dennis said "well I've known him for 8 months, he's never had a girlfriend as long as I've known him, and I mean I've never seen him act all goofy like he is, whipped like he is, that smile on his face, talking about you and now I know why."

Dennis said "Judy you ok."  She said "yes I'm fine. Look I just didn't expect it. It's fine."  Dennis said "Judy I really care about you, you know that right"  She nodded.  Sydney said "I need try talk to Tom."

Sydney went into the kitchen.  She said "hey guys"  Tom didn't say anything just looked.  Doug said "hey Sydney."  Sydney said "Doug can I talk to Tom a minute."  Doug said "um well I don't think it's a good time."  Sydney said "Doug please."  he said "ok."  Doug patted Hanson on back, and Sydney on the shoulder and he left.
