CHAPTER 10: REVENGE

Booker was driving. He was told  to drive to a certain warehouse, where they would have Sydney's captain with his officers who were going to help. He had them embedded in another gang,.  Booker said "Hanson I think we need to clear the air."  Tom said "Booker shut the hell up. ."  Booker said "ok I get it I know you hate me, now you really hate me. But don't take it out on Sydney. And just so you know she and I never had sex."

Tom said "I know that she told me. And I apologized to her for insulting her and also to Judy. Look man I hate you even more now, and it makes me sick, but I can't even be mad at you for falling in love with her, she's one in a million, I already know how special she is."  Booker said "She is, so I'm glad you see that. She deserves to be cherished Hanson, so you just make sure you treat her good, and don't hurt her I can tell she really cares about you. It was obvious on her face. I want her to be happy No matter how much it hurts to watch."

They went over their roles.  Tom was to take Dennis in to meet with Mario and take the other two officers. Doug was supposed to be with one of the other guys, and radio back from the wires they were going to wear.  Fuller was concerned that the guards would get suspicious if he brought in food or would remember Doug.

The officers who were imbedded in their gang brought some other officers.  Tom gave them a count of all the guards and guys Mario had in there.  Tom and Booker got let in to Mario's office. He was in the secret room. He had a bandage around his head.  Mario said "where is that bitch I  told you to go find her."  Tom said "Boss I'm looking I thought I would have a buddy of mine from one of my old gangs, help look for her."  Tom introduced him to Mario.

Mario said "I want that bitch found."  Booker looked at Tom.  He was clinching his fist.  Tom said "So boss what happened, when I left you had her in here, you said you got hit on the head, you have any idea who it was."  He said "no sherlock if I did don't you think I'd have sent you to kill them and bring my slut to me."  Booker started towards him.  Tom stopped him.

Tom said "I got some other guys coming, that can help us search."  Mario said "I'm losing my patience with you". He walked up to Tom, pulled out his gun and put it to Tom's head. He said "I guess you don't get how bad I want this girl. I want her now"  Tom said "Yes sir I know that. I'm on it."  He said "well you are not on it you're not doing a very good job so I want to make myself clear. You get that bitch here, I am going to torture the hell out of her, and then I'm going to "  Booker was so pissed, he wanted to kick Mario's ass. He said "hey if you want him to find her, then why don't you put the gun away, and let us do our job."

Mario pulled the gun back.  Tom had given a blue print to Fuller of the layout, so swat team members were brought in surrounding the place. Fuller and Sydney's captain had went to Brian's and followed him  to a diner.  Brian got out and said "hey Captain."  Captain said "you're under arrest, and read him his rights."

Brian tried acting surprised, not knowing what or why he was arrested, the captain told him to cut the crap, told him they knew he kidnapped Sydney, that he ratted her out to Mario. He ordered him to surrender his badge."

Brian was crying, begging the captain to not do this. His wife would leave him. He owed this Mario, he didn't want to do it, but Mario had done him a favor and he was in debt to him. He begged him. Captain said "I hope you're prepared what will happen to a cop like you in prison. I mean you will be in prison with people who you sent there."  He begged him to not to send him to prison. He said he would do anything.

Captain said "I can't promise you no prison, that is up to the DA. But I can talk to the DA and recommend lighter sentence, if you turn in your badge, and if you do the right thing, and you help us get Mario for what he was going to do to Sydney. If you stay quiet then I won't help you at all."
