Gaea's armies marched towards Olympus. They were led by a man in shining armor made from stygian iron. In his hand was a long obsidian sword. On his head was a helmet that depicted a skull. Strapped to his back was Kronos' scythe. Behind him was a demigod girl, also in stygian iron armor, but instead of a helmet, she wore a hood and a mouth a nose black mask. Her sword was made of celestial bronze. Zeus looked out of Olympus to see the army marching towards the Empire State Building. He ordered the gods to fight them, and the gods obeyed his comand.
"Stay here," Athena ordered her father, "They're obviously coming for you."
The gods intercepted the army at the base of the Empire State Building. The warrior wearing the skull helmet walked past the gods engaging in battle with the monsters. He didn't so much as blink when the gods slayed Polybotes, didn't notice his army falling around him. He had one objective, and no one would stop him from reaching his goal. The man at the front desk of the Empire State tried to stop him, but he mentally pushed the man to the side. He climbed into the elevator and pressed the button for the six-hundredth floor. When the elevator reached the top, he marched through Olympus towards the throne room. Many minor gods tried to stop him, but he extended his arm and they froze, the ichor in their veins freezing over. They fell to the ground. They would, of course, survive the blood freezing, but they would be incapitated for a while, certainly long enough for him to do what he needed to. He made his way through Olympus. When he walked into the throne room, Zeus summoned a lightning bolt. Hestia sat by the hearth, tending the flames.
"Lady Hestia," the warrior acknowledged, "I suggest you leave."
The goddess must've heard the warning in his voice because she stood and ran from the throne room.
"How did you reach me?" Zeus asked. The warrior grinned maniacally underneath his helmet, "Once again, Zeus, you have underestimated me."
The warrior lunged at the King of the Gods. Zeus sent a lightning bolt in his direction. The warrior laughed, "You missed."
He swung his obsidian sword, and it clashed with another the lightning bolt that had returned to Zeus' hand like a boomerang. The warrior slashed again and again. Zeus backed up towards the thrones. The two powerful immortals fought for sometime without any consequence. Then the lightning bolt grazed the warrior's hand. Golden ichor dripped from the wound as he hissed. But it didn't affect him much, because his next move was to kick Zeus in the chest, sending the Lord of the Sky flying backwards into his throne. The warrior appeared above him the sword pointed at his chest, "This sword is called Theos Dolofonos, the God Killer."
He drew the scythe from his back, "But using this will be much more poetic."
"Wh-who are you?" Zeus demanded. The warrior laughed, the sound evil and cold, "I am exactly what you feared I was. I am death incarnate."
"Who are you?" Zeus repeated. The warrior threw Theos Dolofonos to the side, before reaching up and pulling the helmet off his head. Zeus gasped as he took in the angry young face, the face that he sent to Tartarus four years previously. Percy Jackson sneered at Zeus, "Hello uncle."
Zeus' eyes widened with fear as he realised his mistake. In sending the son fo Poseidon to Tartarus, he created what he sought to destroy. Percy hadn't worked for Gaea four years ago, but he certainly did now, and it was Zeus' fault. Percy raised the scythe, and taking pleasure in the pain he caused, carved the Lord of the Sky into tiny pieces. He gripped Zeus head, which was all that was left of the god, as he felt the god's power surge into him. He exited Olympus covered in golden ichor. Once he reached the battle outside, he used Zeus' power to levitate himself above the crowd and roared, "ENOUGH!"
The commotion stopped. Someone, probably Aphrodite, screamed as she beheld what Percy held. He raised it above his head, "I have destroyed Zeus! You will now bow to me!"
The monsters and the female demigod knelt before him immediately. The gods took slightly longer to bow, but they did. He took in their faces. Most of the gods were horrified. His eyes lingered on his father's. Poseidon's face was remorceful, as if he too realised what sending Percy to Tartarus had really done. The monsters cheered triumphantly. The battle was won, and the gods hadn't won it. Percy fell back down to the ground. He turned to Hermes, who was glaring at him, "Let it be known that the King of the gods is dead."

Annabeth and the rest of the seven huddled around the iris message Chiron had summoned. They had decided they should try and figure out what was going on. So far, the battle was even. The gods were holding their own against the monster army. They watched Polybotes go down, and Hyperion. They watched as hellhounds and dracnae and cyclopes fell, and the gods began to gain the upper hand. One question continued through Annabeth's head; how had Percy known this would happen? She didn't have to wait too long to find her answer however, for a figure rose above the rest, levitating so that everyone could see him.
"ENOUGH!" he yelled. Annabeth choked as she realised who he was, and what he was holding. Percy declared, "I have destroyed Zeus! You will now bow to me!"
That was how Percy knew that the army would be there. He was leading them. Annabeth sobbed and sat down hard on the sofa.
"Is that..."
"No! It can't be..."
Her friends stared incredulously at the image. All at once, the gasped, "Percy?"
Annabeth cried harder. Piper sat down next to her and wrapped her arms around her friend. But it didn't help. Percy was evil. Percy had killed Zeus. He was no longer her Seaweed Brain. He was a monster.
