Annabeth called an emergency meeting as soon as she woke. At the meeting, she explained to the seven and the head counsellors what Gaea had told her.
"What if it's a trick?" Nico di Angelo said quietly. Annabeth shook her head, "It's not. She's not awake."
"Yet," Piper muttered. Annabeth glared at her before saying, "For whatever reason, Percy's not summoning Gaea."
"But what can we do?" Frank asked, "Percy's a literal god. From what you're saying, he's as powerful, if not more, as primordials."
"We've defeated primordials before," Jason said encouragingly, "And its not like Percy's Gaea."
"He might as well be," Piper grumbled.
"How about," Will Solace spoke up, "You guys could all go together, and defeat him together, like you always do."
"Percy is a better swordsman than Luke Castellan," Thalia Grace says, "He is more powerful than Jason, and that's without being a god."
"Hey!" Jason protested. Thalia rolled her eyes at him. Despite the situation, Annabeth struggled to resist the urge to chuckle.
"We have to try," Hazel chimed in, "If Percy is as unstable as Gaea suggests, then he can't be the King."
"I think we should approach this like a quest," Jason said, "With only three people going to meet him."
"I'll go," Annabeth said immediately, "If he listens to anyone, It'll be me."
Jason nodded, "Me too."
"And me," Thalia said.
"So it's decided," Chiron announced, "Annabeth, Jason and Thalia will go and try to convince Percy to give up the throne. When - if - that doesn't work, we'll launch an attack on Olympus."

Jason was expecting an army of monsters, maybe some titans, and a large entity sitting on a throne that did not belong to him. So he was rather surprised to walk in and find one girl, one empousa, the goddess of wisdom, and Percy at his normal size. Even though he was human sized, he was intimidating. He lounged across the golden throne, Poseidon's trident in hand. He wore black ripped jeans, and worn Air Jordans. His chest was bare, and Jason could glimpse jagged scars curling around his sides. Around his neck was an imperial golden circlet, and he had a matching gold bracelet on his left wrist. Rings adorned his fingers. Atop his night-dark hair was a golden crown, forged from both celestial bronze and imperial gold. Yes, Percy was very, very intimidating. He sat up straight when we walked in, and turned to Athena, saying quietly, "Leave us."
Athena bowed to him and quickly made her exit. Percy spread his arms wide and grinned, "Friends! Welcome to Olympus!"
"Why is my mother helping you?" Annabeth asked. Percy shrugged, "If she doesn't, I'll throw her in Tartarus with the others. I think she made a wise desicion, don't you?"
A growl sounded in Thalia's throat as she said, "You killed my father."
Percy laughed, and it sounded slightly maniacal in Jason's opinion, "Dear Thalia, you know that gods can't die! I merely ripped him to shreds and threw his remains in the pit of hell."
Jason had to hold Thalia back to prevent her from trying to rip Percy to shreds.
"We've come to negotiate," Jason said. Percy just rolled his eyes, "You want me to give up the throne. Let me just think for a second."
He stoked his chin, as though contemplating something, "How about..."
He grinned at them, "No."
"Please Percy," Annabeth said, "I know this isn't you."
A cold laugh came to this, "This is coming from the girl who, just last week, told me I was a monster."
"You are," Thalia muttered. Before Percy could pounce on her, Annabeth said, "I saw what happened to you in Tartarus."
Percy stilled. Annabeth continued, "I saw the serum."
What serum was she talking about? She took a step forward, "I saw the Earth State."
"Shut up," he growled.
Another step, "I saw the Phelegethon."
Percy was out of the chair so fast Jason could barely track it. He pushed Annabeth up against the wall and snarled, "Shut your filthy mouth."
Jason could see Annabeth tremble, and he found himself agreeing with Thalia. Percy was a monster.
"Percy," the girl beside the throne said. Percy stepped away from Annabeth and stalked back up to the throne. He lounged across it and drawled, "I think its time for you to leave."
"We're not leaving until you give up the throne," Thalia snarled. Percy dragged his sea green eyes over to her, "I spared your goddess, Thalia. If you don't want her thrown in Tartarus, you will leave."
"We'll fight you if we have to," Jason warned. Percy just grinned, "Oh yes. I'm aware of your little army waiting outside my doors, ready to bust in at any moment and attack us. Whatever will I do?"
"Please Percy," Annabeth pleaded one more time. The King of Olympus leant forward and hissed, his eyes flashing, "Leave."
Jason, Annabeth and Thalia glanced at each other, before Artemis' lieutenant snarled, "No," and all Hades broke loose.
