Annabeth couldn't help but feel nervous when she was summoned to the throne room. She walked into the room and up to Percy, "You asked for me, your majesty?"
Percy was lounging across his throne, looking much like the villain he'd been before Annabeth had saved him, flipping a dagger in his right hand. Slowly, he recited, "The Owl will come to stop the Sea."
Annabeth's heart dropped as she recognised the words from the prophecy. Percy continued, "And end his reign of tyranny."
His eyes moved off the dagger and focused on Annabeth, "The Tyrant King's wrath shall one withstand, and save the world from his unstable hand."
"Percy..."
"She'll guide him out from the dark, and be the one to bring back his spark."
"Percy..."
"But the price he'll pay shall be steep, and thus will come his final sleep."
On the last word he threw the dagger at the floor, landing just between Annabeth's feet. His voice was dangerously quiet as he said, "You knew about this prophecy."
She slowly nodded.
"And you didn't tell me."
"Percy, I..."
"ENOUGH!" He screamed, jumping to his feet, "I trusted you. I told you my deepest secrets. And all this time, you were plotting against me."
He walked slowly towards her, until his face was right up against hers, "I should have you executed."
"Percy, let me explain!"
"THERE IS NOTHING TO EXPLAIN!"
She flinched backwards. He turned and prowled back up the stairs.
"That's why you wanted me to release the gods from Tartarus. So they could bring about my 'final sleep.' You want me dead."
He grinned evily down at her, "Unfortunately for you, Annabeth, I am a god. I am the King of the Universe, in fact. You will never kill me."
"Percy, I've been trying to stop the prophecy."
"SHUT UP!" Percy roared, "YOU DO NOT GET TO SPEAK WHILST I AM SPEAKING!"
Annabeth flinched back again. However he had found out about the prophecy, it had sent him back to the darkness.
"I trusted you," he whispered, and Annabeth hated how broken his voice sounded as he said, "Get out. Before I change my mind and kill you."
Annabeth turned on her heel and left.

A/N: I know this is a short one, but I didn't think anything else could've been added to this chapter.
