When He Returned - Part 16

He nodded and hurried out of the office, with the door clicking shut behind him.
Sighing, I finally relaxed back into the chair closing my heavy eyelids. So much to do. There was always so much to do.
He came so sweetly, talking softly, smiling beautifully, gazing tenderly. He was, if not the same, improved in appearance, ten times more. His eyes were bigger and softer with a gaze one would get lost in. His nose petite and perfect, the bridge shaped wonderfully down to a soft point. His lips seemed plumper and pinker, beautiful and soft. His facial structure perfectly chiseled giving him a more masculine, mature look. He looked ... Well, damn sexy I had to admit.
"No, no, no, no, stop. Eva stop." I grunted sitting up in the chair glancing at my reflection in the window. What was I doing? See, I'm just ... I swear, I'm going to fall for him again. That jerk, that ... That asshole. Left me for five damned years and I'm admiring how attractive he is. "Straighten yourself up girl." I muttered to myself, swivelling the chair around and I moved closer to the desk.
There was a huge pile of stacked papers thick and boring, each with a large paragraph stating the location of the land, the property worth, and then at the bottom a little blank to sign. There must have been some 200 papers stacked up, all I had to read through, all I had to sign, unbelievable. Well, I got to work picking up one of the packages and set it in front of me flipping through and reading thoroughly till the end and signed it, doing this with each and every single paper.✨
