When He Returned - Part 12I felt his hand touch my arm softly... if you only knew how I felt when he touched me. I turned around without second thought and flung into his arms pouring the five years worth of pain out through tears on his cologne downed tuxedo. His arms reached up wrapping themselves around my shaking body as I sobbed hysterically in his arms.
"Eva..." He began once more, but I stopped him.
"FIVE YEARS!" I screamed pushing him away. "You left me for FIVE years! What were you thinking? Why didn't you just tell me?" All emotions let loose as I vented out my anger and frustration mixed with pain. "You think I was going to wait five years for you? After you disappear out of nowhere without even informing me about it beforehand? You didn't care to call me once.. didn't care to mail me.. didn't care to email me. Nothing."
"Eva please, I'm sorry... There's something I have to tell you."
"Tell me what? About how wonderful your little trip to Japan was? Do you realize how long those five years felt for me? I love you Michael... and those five years without you was like living hell." I sighed finally as I felt the pain slowly ease off my chest.
He stood silent for a while. We both stood silent.
"Eva, I love you too... but the-"
"Michael?"
I turned towards the door to see a young lady standing watching us. She had on a beautiful gown that shimmered with gold as the sun cast its rays upon the sparkly fabric. Her eyes were a crystal blue and her golden blonde hair flowed effortlessly around her porcelain face.
"Jess.." Michael started.
I turned to him wondering how he knew this girl and who she even was.
"Eva..." He looked at me with eyes that I was familiar with. It was the look he would give me when he was lost... when he felt lost, he'd give me a certain look of worry and I would know right off there was something wrong. "Eva..." He continued. " I would like you to meet my wife, Jessica."✨
