I smoothed down the dress that Stefania had picked out for me.

I have to admit. I looked good. I just hoped that Kaya liked it.

I grabbed the bouquet of flowers that I had bought her, and stepped out of my bedroom.

"Oh bambina! You look beautiful!" Stefania beamed at me as she walked around the living room carrying a crying Rory.
"Grazie Mamma. Let me try before I leave." I reached out and she passed Rory to me.
I turned her over, holding her head in my hand, and her belly resting on my forearm. I placed my left hand on her back and put slight pressure on it, and she immediately stopped crying.

"Go. Enjoy your date. Don't worry about us. Aurora, say 'Bye Bye sissy!'" Stefania waved Rory's hand.
"Love you guys!" I shouted as I walked out of the house.

"Wow

"Wow." I breathed out as I stared at her.
"Wow yourself." Kaya smiled at me and stepped out of her house.
"Oh uh, these are for you." I handed her the bouquet of crazy daisies I had picked out.
"They're beautiful. Thank you." She walked back inside the house and placed them in a vase.
"So, where are we going?" Kaya asked as she locked her door.
"That's for me to know, and you to find out." I grabbed her hand and led her to my car, opening the passenger door for her.
"Such a gentle woman." Kaya joked as she got in.
