--Robert--
Sitting in a meeting with one of our investor in John's cabin, time and again my mind went on to think about Sanju. She must be here somewhere, right?
When I stepped inside the building, the first thing I did was to search for her but got to know that she is in a discussion with her team mates. I have been longing to see her, touch her, close her in my embrace again and again and never let her go. I want to be around her. I want her in any possible way. I. Want. Her. No matter what.
The clock struck 7.50 p.m. Sanju might have left by this time. Within another 10 min we will be done with this meeting. At least I can go and relax. Finally, when we concluded the meeting and bid our investor, I immediately stood up and walked out of the room. We can discuss remaining things tomorrow. Right now all I need was a tummy felt meal and a bed.
While John was wrapping up his things, I walked into the corridor and found it deserted. No wonder that only we will work over time but then I heard the faintest of voices. Following them I ended up walking towards Micheal's office. He is still here? I walked towards the door, which is wide open, I found Micheal and Sanju inside, discussing something.
I heard a deep sigh behind me, "They are still here!!"
"Why are they still working?" I asked John.
"Because of Sam's absence our work has been doubled. Sometimes Sanju is helping me." He answered.
More than anything... Sanju being alone with Michael at this hour is bothering me. When John was about to interfere them, I stopped him. As he have plans with Ash's parents tonight, I told him to proceed ahead. Now as my night is clear... I decided to wait for them.
Standing at the door, I leaning against it and kept on starring at her. Clad in a jeans and a baby pink top, she is playing with her ponytail in one hand and with a pencil in another hand. She leaned back against her chair leisurely and is pointing out a few points to Micheal.
Leaving them to their work, I headed back to the couch in the corridor. Picking up a magazine I indulged into it. By the time I finished it... it's almost half past 8. I peeked into the cabin and found Micheal and Sanju has not even moved an inch. My stomach started growling now. It's time to act. I stood up and went to his cabin.
"You are working overtime more than all the people here." I said loudly.
Startled by my voice they both looked up and said in unison, "Robert?"
"What are you doing here?" Sanju looked up at me with wide eyes.
"Waiting for you." I addressed her, looking straight in her eyes, amazing how big they were.
"Since when?"
I shrugged, "Half an hour, I guess."
"Why??" She asked in horror.
"You guys are working more than required. As I'm a person who cares about you so deeply, I can't leave you alone at this hour but you have exceeded the time limit, Sweetie. It's time to leave. Come on, I'm hungry."
"I'm with her man. I could have taken care of her." Michael said, folding his arms in front of his chest. Sanju started packing her things.
I moved towards him and growled slowly, "If you care for her, you wouldn't have held her up this late in the first place."
Michael turned towards Sanju, "You finish up. I just need a word with Robert."
"OK." She shrugged.
"Go down. You can meet Ethan. I will just come." I said to Sanju.
