Chapter 21: O'Brian family kidnapping

Tina POV

It's been a year and a half ever since Alex rescued me from The Spade King's clutches. While I have been give a lot of therapy sessions, I still have nightmares about what happened two years ago. After seeing Alex in action, I decided to become a vigilante to help others as Alex did. After a month of experience in Taekwondo, Bojutsu, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Archery, I donned my suit, made my set of trick arrows and patrolled the streets of London to protect the innocent. I haven't told my parents about me being a vigilante. When I saw the news during my night patrol, I saw Alex's face and saw a massive bounty on his head. Fearing for his safety, I went home to tell my parents only to find the front door forced open and our butler, Sean, wounded. Sean is the only one who knows I am the Blue Archer. 

"Sean! What happened? Where are my parents?" I asked as I bandaged his wounds.

"The Spade King's men broke in and took them. I assumed that they were after you, Ms Tina." He replied.

Guilt burned in my heart. If only I was there, I could've stopped them.

"It's not you're fault, Muchacha." A voice behind me said. I looked behind and saw a man leaning against the door frame of the kitchen.

"Oh, it's you, Fernández." I sighed.

Rodrigo Antonio Fernández, also known as Silver Bullet, has been my on -again- off again partner ever since I became a vigilante. He calls me Muchacha every time, despite telling him my name. I think he does it to tease me.

"They're in Paris. Held captive by a man called "Shadow Spade." Sean added.

Just hearing his name triggered some memories. I shivered at the thought.

"I remember Al telling me about him. I thought he was in prison." I said.

"From what I heard, he escaped and is now ruling over Paris with an iron fist and an army of possessed superheroes. Including the famous duo, Ladybug and Cat Noir." Rodrigo said with a bitter tone. "I just hope your boyfriend can handle him." 

"If Alex can beat The Spade King and Hawkmoth, then Shadow Spade shouldn't be a problem. But he's going t need all the help he can get. Sean, get to the hospital. Fernández, pack your stuff. We're going to Paris. " I said as I went upstairs and packed my gear. I put on the locket that Alex gave to me me before our departure.

Hang on, Al. I coming to help you, You risked your life to save me. Now I'll return the favour.
