Chapter 14: Nino Vs Buzzsaw

Nino POV

We agreed to split up, since we'll cover more ground. I decided to head for the Eiffel Tower. Alya said she'll check the school. Alex said he'll check near the bakery.  

"Good luck, you guys." Alex said.

We bumped fists and went our separate ways. After hours of searching and dodging the police, I finally reached the Eiffel Tower. I then saw Buzzsaw.

"Hmph. So you're Carapace. I have to admit, you're a major disappointment." He said with his arms crossed.

"At least I'm not a thug who abuses their power." I replied as I bumped my dusters together. "Come at me, dude!"

Buzzsaw laughed. "Word got out! You're a wanted man. So I'll do you a favour and put you out your misery." He got into his fighting stance.

We charged at each other and punched and parried each other.

Buzzsaw threw a punch at me. I sidestepped and jabbed him in the ribs. He screamed as the electricity shocked his body. He growled and snapped a kick at my neck. I stepped back to dodge the kick. I kicked at his stomach. He easily blocked my kick and threw me off the roof. I fired the grappling hook at a nearby building and pulled myself up. I looked behind me and saw a shield with spikes coming in my direction. I yelped and dived out of the way and watched as the shield was imbedded on the wall. Buzzsaw landed on the room and tried to stomp on my torso. I rolled out of the way and swept him of his feet with my leg. He used his hands to spring backwards and onto his feet. 

"Not bad, brat." Buzzsaw chuckled. As he raced towards me.

We continued our fight, dodging and parrying each other's attacks. I grabbed his head and kneed him in the face, breaking his nose. I kicked him in the chest, sending him tumbling to the ground. He rolled back onto his feet and summoned his shield. He swiped his shield at me. I parried the attack with my knuckle dusters but stumbled back due to the blow. He grinned as he slashed his shield at my stomach. I shouted as I clutched my wound. The cut wasn't too deep, but it really hurts.

"Shit. Not good." I cursed to myself.

"Once you're dead, you're girlfriend is next!" Buzzsaw laughed sadistically.

My body stiffened. No. I can't let Alya die by the hands of this scumbag. I want to spend the rest of my days with her. In this life and the next. I took a deep breathe and charged forward.

"SHELTER!" He shouted. I saw a green aura emit from the ground. With precise timing, I dived out of the way before the force field entrapped me.  I rolled onto the ground and back onto my feet.

"What the fu-!?" Buzzsaw exclaimed before I tackled him onto the ground and started beating him in the face over and over again until he was too weak to move. I took the Turtle Bracelet from Buzzsaw and saw him transform into a blonde haired man in his mid 30s. He is wearing a black t shirt, grey jeans and black boots. His face was covered in bruises and cuts that were caused by me. I put on the bracelet and watched as Wayzz reappear in front of me.

"DUDE!" Wayzz exclaimed and hugged my cheek. I

"I missed you." I said tearfully.

"Me too. Now let's go save Paris." Wayzz replied.

"Alright. WAYZZ, SHELL ON!" I shouted and changed into Carapace. My outfit  has changed since the last time I used the miraculous. I am wearing a dark green ninja top with a black belt across my waist,  matching green trousers and black trainers. My mask covers my face only leaving my eyes visible.

"Whoa! This is so cool!" I exclaimed. I looked down at my hands and still had the bloodstained knuckle dusters.

"You won't beat Shadow Spade!" The blonde haired man shouted as he spat out blood and teeth.

"Then you don't know us." I replied as I jabbed him in the head, knocking him out. I cuffed the man and made my way to find either Alya or Alex.
