Alex POV
"So you guys just ran into Marinette?" I asked.
"Yeah. And she's not the same as before." Joseph replied as he rubbed his jaw.
We just reunited with Kagami and Joseph, who told us about their encounter with Marinette, also known as Lady Misfortune.
"Kagami, when you was akumatised, did you see Adrien?" I asked.
Kagami shook her head. "No, I can't say I have."
"Damn." Nino sighed.
Rodrigo landed next to us.
"Rodrigo! I'm glad you're ok. Where's Crimson Huntress." Tina asked.
"Dead. I presume. After I broke her neck." He replied.
"We really need to discuses about the no kill policy." Tina scolded.
"Lo Siento, Muchcacha." Rodrigo answered, bowing his head.
"Can we discus it another time. We got company." Alya said as she drew her staff.
We turned and saw at least twelve armed foot soldiers pointing their weapons at us.
"Stand aside, men." A voice called out. The henchmen made room for a man wearing a white long sleeved bodysuit white sneakers. His hood was pulled down and revealed white hair and white mask. His eyes were icy blue and had a twisted smile on his lips.
"Adrien?" We all exclaimed.
"What the hell happened to you, bro!" Nino added.
"I'm not your bro, Nino. And I'm not Adrien Agreste. I am Chat Blanc. Shadow Spade sent me to collect your heads." He replied as he pulled out a silver baton and extended it.
"And he's not alone." We turned and saw Lady Misfortune jumping off a roof and landing next tom him. "I hope I didn't miss anything, Kitty."
"Not at all, milady." Chat Blanc replied and kissed her hand.
"Ugh. Get a room, you two." I called out, rolling my eyes.
"But enough with the pleasantries. Let's fight." Lady Misfortune summoned her sword and charged at us.
"You guys take out their foot soldiers. Tina and I will handle The Cat and Bug duo." I said as I pulled out my eskrima sticks. Tina nodded and pulled out her bow.
"Good luck, you two." Nino said as he clapped a hand on my shoulder and lead the group towards the army.
"I got Misfortune." Tina said as she blocked Misfortune's sword.
"Guess I'll deal with the alley cat." I muttered.
We exchanged blows and kept each other at bay. I ducked under a swing from Chat Blanc's baton and wacked my eskrima at his jaw. He stepped back and licked the blood from the corner of his mouth.
"Not bad, mutt. But it'll take more than just an eskrima stick to beat me." Chat Blanc swung his baton at the top of my head. I quickly blocked the attack, leaving my front wide open. He kicked me in the stomach. I fell back and quickly rolled back to my feet.
Tina POV
I backflipped away from Misfortune and fired an arrow at her. She cut the arrow in half and rushed forward. I blocked another sword strike.
"Snap out of it, Ladybug!" I shouted.
"It's Lady Misfortune. And I'll be more than happy to present Shadow Spade your head!" She replied as she pushed me back and slashed at my stomach. I quickly stepped back and fired another arrow at her. A flash arrow. The arrow blinded her. Whilst she was struggling to regain her eyesight, I snapped a vicious kick to her torso. She was knock off her feet and landed on her back. I picked up her sword, threw it in the air and fired an explosive arrow at it, destroying it.
