Chapter 15: Alya vs Volpina

Alya POV

I finally made my way to the school and looked around. The whole building was deserted. No sign of life in the cafeteria or in the classrooms. I thought back to the days before Shadow Spade's rule. Before I became Rena Rouge. Before The Cat and Bug duo. 

"I was wondering when you was going to show up." A voice behind me said.

I turned around and saw a woman in an orange and white fox jumpsuit, fox ears on top of her head and a black boots. She twirled her flute in her hand and had a shield on her side. She had dark scarlet hair and  greyish blue eyes and pinkish lipstick.

"Lila?" I asked. 

"It's Volpina. I should thank Shadow Spade for giving me the Fox miraculous. I even got Marinette and Adrien as my allies. Including Luka, Juleka and Kagami. Now, make this easy for me and let me bring you to Shadow Spade." She said as she extended her flute as a staff.

"No way in hell!" I retorted and put my fists up.

We raced towards each other and exchanged blows. Volpina kneed me in the stomach and punched me in the jaw. I rolled onto the ground and got back up. I snapped a kick at her torso. She dodged and swung her staff at my head. I ducked and swept her of her feet. She landed hard on her back and her staff clattered away from her. I tried to reach for the Fox Necklace but was kicked off by Volpina. She got back up too her feet and pulled out a knife. 

"You know how to use that?" I asked.

"Yeah. The sharp end goes through you." She said, lying through her teeth as always.

I sighed and threw a punch at her. She dodged and swiped her knife at my stomach. I stepped back and kicked her stomach. She stumbled back. She ran forward and slashed at my shoulder. I dodged and punched her in the jaw. The electricity helped stung her. She dropped her knife and clutched her jaw. I quickly kicked the knife away.

"Did your boyfriend, Le Loup, make that for you?" She asked in a mocking tone.

"Shut up and fight." I retorted.

We charged forward and exchanged blows. I dodged her punch and grabbed her forearm and and pushed her elbow upwards, breaking her arm. She screamed and threw a punch with her other arm. I grabbed her arm and smashed my elbow on hers, breaking it. 

"YOU BITCH!" She screamed at me.

I elbowed her in the face, breaking her nose. She fell to the ground, unconscious.

I took of the Fox Necklace and put it on. Trixx appeared and hugged my cheek. 

"Good to see you, Alya!" Trixx exclaimed.

"It's good to see you too, Trixx." I replied and returned the hug. "Now. Let's go save Paris."

"You know the words!" Trixx said.

"TRIXX! LET'S POUNCE!" I shouted and transformed into Rena Rouge. I am wearing an orange jacket with a white undershirt underneath, orange leggings and black heeled boots. My mask is also orange and white and is shaped like a fox. 

"Cool!" I squealed as I examined my outfit. "No time to relax! HANG ON, MARI! I'M ON MY WAY! I raced out of the school and made my way to the Mayor's office.
