Alya POV
Alex hugged the sobbing archer with Rodrigo looking around, checking if Shadow Spade's henchmen are still looking for us.
"We'll rescue them. By the way, did you see my godfather and Kagami?" Alex asked.
"Yeah. They told me you went to go and rescue Mayor Andre and everyone who got captured. We ran into a few... what do you call them? "Akumas" when we got here." Tina replied. "They're safe."
Alex sighed in relief. Then we heard a buzzing sound.
"What is that noise?" Nino asked. Then we saw a large group of wasps.
"Oh mon dieu non." Alex said as he tugged on his mask and pulled out his eskrima sticks.
"No way." Nino added as he prepared his shield.
Rodrigo pulled out his duel pistols. Tina pulled out her bow and arrow. Luka and Juleka got into their stances.
"Hello again!" Chloe called out and jumped of her cloud of bees and landed on the ground.
"Coming here to get swatted, pest?" Alex growled behind his mask.
"I think I'll put you down, dog." She scoffed and ordered her wasps to sting us.
"Careful. If you get stung, you'll be under her control!" I yelled as I evaded the wasps. Rodrigo dodged the wasps and fired his guns at them. The bullets passed through them.
"Physical attack won't work on them. Just give up." Queen Wasp laughed .
"How about my foot in your face!?" Alex shouted and kicked Queen Wasp in the face. She stumbled back clutching her broken nose.
"You damn mutt!" She shouted. "Get him, my pretties!"
Alex backflipped away from Queen Wasp and threw two explosive pellets at the wasps. The explosion disintegrated them into dust.
"No! My babies!" Queen Wasp sobbed.
"Go ahead! I'll deal with Queen of the Wasps here." I said.
"Bonne chance, Foxy." Alex said as he clapped a hand on my shoulder and ran off.
"Buena suerte, Chica Zorro." Rodrigo added as he shook my hand and followed him.
"Give her hell, Rena." Tina nodded at me and left.
"Be careful, babe." Nino said as he kissed me on the cheek and ran away.
"We'll wait for you, Alya." Luka shook my hand and followed the others.
"Please come back, Alya. I don't want to lose a friend." Juleka hugged me and ran away.
I pulled out my staff and charged at Queen Wasp. She pulled out a sceptre out of nowhere and blocked my attack. We continued to exchange blows until Queen Bee kicked me in the chest, causing me to fall on to my back. I quickly rolled out of the way as Queen Wasp slammed her sceptre on to the area I was on. I got up to my feet.
"Why do this, Chloe. It's been6 months ever since your incarceration. Why risk going back to jail?" I asked as I dodged another sceptre attack.
"All I want is revenge. And with Shadow Spade's help, I finally got it. I have Ladybug and Chat Noir as my slaves. I have power I can use however I please. And no one can stop me." She said as she struck her sceptre on my torso. I coughed up some blood and was struck again across the face. I landed face firs onto the ground. I tried to get up only to get stomped in the back by Queen Wasp.
"I earned this." She said as she raised her sceptre to launch the killing blow.
"No. You. DON'T!" I shouted as I wriggled free and dodged her sceptre crashing onto the ground and got up.
Queen Wasp swung her sceptre again. This time, I dodged and thrusted my staff into her gut as hard as I can, causing her to cough up some blood. As she tired to recover, I unleashed a furry of punches and kicks, causing her to be pushed back due to the blows. She tried to block the attacks to no avail. With one final kick to the jaw, Queen Wasp flipped backwards and landed on her back.
"That was for kidnapping my girl and my boyfriend's best friend." I huffed as I removed the Bee Hairpin from her.
"It's. Not. Fair." Chloe coughed and passed out.
"Queen Wasp!? What's going on!? Answer me!" Her radio called out. I picked up the radio and answered.
"Your Queen has been dethroned! Surrender while you can and maybe we'll give you a lighter sentence."
"So are you willing to arrest your bestie?" The voice replied.
"M-Marinette?" I choked.
"Not Marinette. And it's sure as hell not Ladybug. I am Lady Misfortune." She said with an evil laugh.
"Don't worry, Mari! I'm going to save you!" I yelled.
"I don't need saving. Especially from you, Reporter girl. I can't believe we were friends. I'll enjoy killing you for Shadow Spade." She replied and hung up.
I threw the radio in the river and ran to The Mayor's office with tears in my eyes.
Shadow Spade. You're going to pay for this! I swear!
