Chapter 11: Andre Dethroned

Andre POV

2 hours after the chase.

 I couldn't believe this. It was fine with Marinette and Adrien being Ladybug and Chat Noir and their friends being superheroes. But who would've thought that an introverted student would be the person who defeated the Spade King and helped defeat Hawkmoth. How is this even possible? How long has he being doing this?

I heard the door to my office crash open. In came men dressed in black and armed with black AK-47s entered and held me at gunpoint. 

"What is the meaning of this!?" I demanded.

"You are being dethroned, Daddy." a voice I painfully recognised answered me.

"Chloe." I said bitterly.

Chloe walked towards with an evil smirk. Next to her was a man in his late 30s wearing a purple cloak, a black shirt, red gloves, black trousers and purple shoes. He was holding a cane.

"You are?" I asked.

"Shadow Spade. At your service." He said with a bow.

"Chloe, why are here? I thought I sent you to New York to live with your mother." I asked.

"My mother kicked me out after hearing how I helped Hawkmoth in his plan to revive his wife from her coma. And almost destroy Paris." She scoffed. "So I caused her to get bankrupt and kept the money for myself."

I was shocked to hear that Chloe would do something like this. I may not love my wife anymore, but I wouldn't dare steal money from her.

"Now, Shadow Spade will be the new Mayor of Paris. And there is nothing you can do about it." She added. "Take him away!" 

I was dragged out off my office and watched as Shadow Spade took my seat.

Nino POV.

Alya and I watched as Mayor Bourgeois was dragged out of his office. We exchanged looks and quickly exited  Le Grande Paris hotel without getting seen.  

"Now what? Alex is in jail. Marinette and Adrien are MIA. Our miraculous has been taken. We're on our own." I said as I sat on the bench with my hand on my face. Alya sat down next to me and put her arm around my shoulder.

"We're not out of the woods yet. A few of us are still clinging onto hope. We can't give up yet." She said.

"You're right. Ladybug and Chat Noir wouldn't want us to give into despair." I said. 

"Now come on. I know where Alex is. It's time for Le Loup to come out of hibernation." Alya replied as we raced to the police station.

Alya POV

We reached to the police station and saw Lt Raincomprix, sitting on his desk with his head in his hands. 

"Free Le Loup! We need him!" I shouted .

Roger looked at us and shook his head.

"I can't. The Mayor's orders." He replied.

"Well we don't give a damn!" Nino retorted. "The dude is clearly a tyrant! And I'd rather die than serve a tyrant!"

"Go home, you two. If I let him out, my daughter will be punished for my actions." He said with tears in his eyes.

"Do you think your daughter would love you if you kneel to a tyrant. You even cheered after Alex's speech. Please, Lieutenant. Do the right thing." I said as I placed a hand on his shoulder. He looked at me and nodded.

"Wait outside. And don't get caught." He said as he took some clothes and placed them in a box.

Nino and I left the police station and hid behind a wall.
